I 100% agree with everything you said Musa. I feel the girls have so much potential and they should take the risk and create new style and sounds for them and not just apply the same formula that worked with BP before because they're gonna end upp being just BP 2.0 if they keep making the songs with the same formula, the same sounds, etc. I really like this song in its majority but i couldn't help but notice that it does sound just like a BP song. And i know it is the "YG sound" but in the last years, the face of YG has been BP so, one automatically connects that sound with BP because that's the reference, so i understand when you say that it is not fair for BM and i agree. I really hope they start creating a different approach from now on and not just play it safe with the formula they know already works, because, i repeat, i know that's the "YG sound" but a company can still mantain its DNA and have different approach on things. It is one thing to maintain your essence and another different thing to just keep doing the same.

I was completely blown away by this! My expectations were exceeded after watching the teasers! So creative, so original, so captivating, just so good! The two cochlea (spiral ear canals) on the walls behind rapping Ahyeon and Ruka are cool, and also these two “rev” the two dirt bikes on the side walls during Asa’s amazing rap! Ahyeon saying she’s not just one of the announced 5 members (YG’s 1st announced members before YG’s flip), not just one of the current 7 members, but that she is 10 out of 10 (score/flex)! “Boom Boom Pow”…Black Eyed Peas perchance? “Rum pum pum pum” à la f(x) but making your ears feel good instead of, or in addition to, piercing your heart or hurting your head? They ARE on a “roll” (as they sing in the outro)…a Rolls-Royce Ghost car that is, worth over $350,000! I personally think that BM have all factors to become 5th gen brightest stars (vocals, rap, dance, stage presence) but after such long period of waiting for them to debut, I feel like their title song could be better than Sheesh… there are parts in this song that I like (mostly pre-chorus, Rora’s voice is fire) but in general… nothing’s new, this song is so filled and empty at the same time. I just don’t feel satisfied on 100% cause we all know that BM could do better. My fav song from the album is definitely Like That because it just suits Baemon better and doesn’t sound hackneyed. Really hope that YG won’t lock these amazing talented girls in the basement and release another album with more songs in this year so that girls could get what they deserve. And of course I don’t want them to be “second BP”, both groups should follow their own unique path. All love ❤️

Either Babymonster will always be the little BP or YG will make even less promotions for BP and Babymonster will replace them by force of YG. You can't tell YG to change their concept because you saw Blackpink with BM. As a fan of both group, I don't really see them as one at all. I watched BM since their Last Evaluation and they are totally different. It is YG's trademark to have a concept like this since 2NE1. And we really heard the same criticisms before when BP debuted :) They are comparing BP to 2NE1's concept and yet they became globally famous 😊 You need to accept the fact that this is YG. If you don't like their concept then go to another company or gg's that meet your expectations. As a fan of YG I like their genre at all. I can't listen to other groups who has a cute concept and just using a lot of back tracking and auto tunes to make the song catchy. If they change their concept just what you said they will definitely not YG anymore. They've known for this. And BM members choose this company because they know that their potential matches with YG. This is not a lost to them after all. And mind you, they are doing other genres not just hiphop. And we will see more in the future because they are just starting 😊
