However, Babymonster showed its popularity by selling out all tickets for its first fan meeting in Seoul. This means that Babymonster has succeeded in silencing doubts about their popularity in South Korea, and proving that they are one of the rookie groups that has loyal fans all over the world and is something to be reckoned with in the K-pop music industry.

They are very popular actually in Korea but the song is not streamable for majority of people maybe. BM music is always being played everywhere in SK when I was there and remember Korea have the 2nd album sales in the first week so they have a lot of fans there.

They're the only relatively new group that has a legitimate shot at becoming the girl group GOAT's in the future when all things are said & done; it's by no means a disrespect towards their 5th gen running mates, 4th gen seniors, nor the GOAT's from 3rd gen. Just looking at it objectively and the sky-high potetial in their futures, it's undeniable if not inevitable especially when they don't really give off rookie vibes but rather more like seasoned vets ngl.

The only problematic thing in Korea for BM is the Korean music charts. And I don't really trust the charts much anymore. They've gone through many corporate ownership changes recently and several of them are now linked to the big entertainment companies that are competing against YG.
