I really like Winton! That is one O I have not heard before, although I have heard of Winston and Winslow. I also really enjoy Quincy and Amadeo, it really reminds me of Mozart. Omavi is cute as well but Cedar is probably my very favorite on the list. Zion would be a close second for me. I hope you and your family have a wonderful and blessed week!

Obviously you can pronounce a name however you want, but the word Valor, meaning bravery, is pronounced Va-ler not Vay-lor

I went to school with a Kyven years ago, I feel like Kaivan just unlocked a core memory lol. 😂 So many great names, I love Rian (I've also seen Rhian and quite like how that looks) Quincy, Amadeo, Frey/Freyr, Rowley, Auren, Valor (we say it VAL-er) and Eldon!

Rian.....is Ryan spelt with an i. ...it was changed in the 80s to a Y, and now back to the i.

Percival -- go with Pierce or Perry for a boy's nickname. Percy will be guaranteed to get him bullied and insulted as a posh or girly nickname. -- There's an alternate etymology (word-history) for Percival - "Par Coeval" in French "By Horse" as well as the "Percé (Le) Val" (valley piercer or pierced valley). The German form is Parsifal. Either etymology is possible from the medieval literature story character. -- And Percival Lowell is the well-known astronomer who thought he saw canals / water channels on Mars. (Lowell is also a good boy name, and if I remember properly, it means Little Bear.) Pierce or Pierson also works for a boy's name, historical.

Valor is pronounced /văl-or/, not /vay-lor/. Think of valedictorian or valentine. To be valorous is to be brave and virtuous, and it has connotations of glory too. Valor would be an unusual name, I've never seen it as a personal name. Latin word root.

You're welcome! -- Typo in my post above: That should be «Par Cheval» not coeval (which, co-eval means the same period in history). par = by/from/of, cheval = horse, chevalier = knight (in French).
