Hey!! I absolutely love your channel, and thank you for these amazing videos. I’m currently looking to replace my Nuna mixx next (too big and bulky) with something lighter but for everyday use. I usually walk at least an hour a day with the stroller so I need something that can keep up with all the walking. I wonder if yoyo2 could be it? Also considering Nuna triv and Cybex mios. Any suggestions?

Thank you for this video. I didn’t expect it so soon. :) Too bad the Joolz Aer is not available in Norway yet. I’m so looking forward to your video. Actually I was choosing between the yoyo+ and Joolz Aer (after your video), but then suddenly I saw there’s the yoyo2... so now the decision has to be made between 3 strollers. Aaaand I have to wait vor the video. The struggle is real. 🙈But thank you very much, your videos already helped me a lot! 😄

Thank you for your reviewing. I'm so confused between yoyo+, yoyo2 and ergobaby metro city. Which one do you prefer? Because my baby is 3 months and in need the strolley to bring him to the hospital by motorbike. In my country, the price of yoyo+ 0month is same with yoyo2 6month. And the ergobaby metro is a half price of yoyo. Yoyo+ 0+: has the newborn bassinet Yoyo2 6+: has new update of front wheel for terrain. The streets in my country are not good quality. Ergobaby: economy version. But i found the review of chair toward and not comfotable for baby. Please give me an advice of choosing suitable strolley. I have to bring my son to hospital frequently by motorbike and hoping the strolley make him feel comfortable. Thank you a lot.

I got this stroller, as my wife doesn't like heavy strollers. We've watched your video on essembling it together. Would you reccomend any stroller perhaps to compliment this one as we might need to use it on harsher terrains which won't be ideal

We have one of these and it's been fantastic for airport travel, but it is less good on actual pavements and roads if they are not perfectly smooth. It also got impossibly stuck in snow on our way to the airport carpark once. Another dislike is that the handle is too short, so I have to crouch slightly and take smaller steps than normal while walking. For that reason, I would never use it as an everyday stroller. It's fine for short, temporary use while travelling though. I suppose those are the tradeoffs you have to make if you want something ultra light and compact.

My daughter is 2 years old now and we have been using the Maxi Cosi Adorra Pushchair. It was nice when I was pregnant but now it just looks so bulky to me. I really would like the Babyzen Yoyo2 but do you think it is worth me buying it now? We have a car too but I’m just thinking about when I’m out and about without the car. I’m not sure how long children are meant to be in a stroller - Is there a rule? Would love your thought and opinion! Thank you!

Thank you so much for this video! I have the first edition of the Yoyo (5 years old) and its time to change it for the 3rd child. I love it but for the 3rd child I would go for something cheaper. What would you recommend? What is the best travel stroller after the yoyo?
@BarnevognverkstedNo
@BarnevognverkstedNo 4 жыл бұрын
Do you need something that fits as hand-luggage? If not, I would go for the Minu. If so, your best bet is probably to get a good replacement Yoyo off the used market. There aren't a lot of significantly cheaper alternatives that fit as cabin luggage.
@liattina

That is what I thought! Yes I would need as a hand luggage...just found an amazing stroller that is called “Hamilton X1” it’s folding looks amazing and has other interesting features that are better than the Yoyo..unfortunately it’s new and I don’t know if it durable as the Yoyo. But check it out!

Not sure what american standards are but I can tell you that in Paris you see these Yoyo everywhere, in parks, on pavements, dirt paths. People in Paris usually live in appartments with small elevators or no elevators at all. Yoyo is the only option and it seems to work fine. btw I have a Cybex Mios which is a great daily but I think about selling it and move to Yoyo for more practicality

None of them. Unless travelling in airplanes is such a regular part of life that you must use one. If you need something small for daily use, it's much better to go one size up, and get a small-size daily model like the Joolz Hub or the Uppababy Cruz. :)

Can I just ask about the back wheels please? They wobble when they r rolling. They are not loose when I try to wobble them. Only when rolling. Babyzen sent me a video of a buggy in their showroom and it does the same thing. They said it isn't a defect. But my sisters buggys wheels are ok! Is there anything I can do to fix this issue? It bugs me! Thanks
@BarnevognverkstedNo
@BarnevognverkstedNo 4 жыл бұрын
Check whether the wheels are actually wobbling (loose or assymetrical on the axels, you can see this from above as you spin the wheel, by checking if it looks as though the distance between the rubber and the back frame changes along the wheel's rotation) or whether it just looks like it from the side, because the hub caps are not snapped on tightly. I only mention this, because it was the case for us when we recieved our model, and pressing the hub caps in so that they were fully snapped in on all sides fixed the problem :)

@@BarnevognverkstedNo thank you so much for your response! The wheel cups are on properly. I removed one to check the wheel and it all looks like it's on properly! Nothing is loose or wobbly! @@BarnevognverkstedNo oh and the distance actually changes! Sorry I forgot to say! @BarnevognverkstedNo
@BarnevognverkstedNo 4 жыл бұрын
Of course. If you're looking for an ultra-compact for her, then the Uppababy Minu might be a better choice, since it has a 1-hand fold and a bit better suspension (so you won't feel the vibrations as much). If you're going for something larger (which will help even more with the suspension / vibration bit), then I would go with the Bugaboo Fox2, as Bugaboo mechanisms tend to have a lighter touch, and also most of the kinetic energy gets shaken out / absorbed at several points before reaching the handle.

Hello, do you think I should go for the Yoyo+ or Yoyo2? My little girl is currently 6 months but she is long for her age. Do you think I’ll get much use out of it if we went away next summer? She would then be 1 1/2 - 2 years old? If not I’ve looked at the silver cross zest would you recommend that? Love your informative videos thank you 😊
@BarnevognverkstedNo
@BarnevognverkstedNo 4 жыл бұрын
Hi, Glad you like our videos :) The Yoyo is ideal, sizewise, up until 2 and a half / 3 yrs old in my experience (it can be used a little bit after that as well, it just starts to be a little on the small side), so it's definitely worth purchasing for holidays. I would go for the Yoyo+ if you can still find it, because the changes to the suspension are less relevant than getting the rain cover included (it's not going to perform well off-road or as a daily-use stroller anyway). As far as limited use is concerned, I've also noticed that Yoyos retain value on the used market, so if you keep it in good condition (and hold onto the reciept for warrunty purposes), you'll probably get a good chunk of the puchase-price back, a few years on when you're done with it. I wouldn't recommend getting the Zest. The big beautiful classic Silvercross models are great, but I'm not a big fan of their other stuff from an engineering perspective. Also it's an umbrella stroller, which is a clunky and outdated concept, imo

The Stroller Workshop thank you so so much for your reply I really appreciate it. We have a silver cross wave currently as our everyday stroller (but that’s impossible to take on holiday) I seam to get on well with that as if I have baby no 2 I can convert to a double easily. But would you generally recommend those to people looking for 1-2 baby travel system ? ☺️ thank you I’ll steer clear from the zest then and go for a Yoyo+ thanks so much

@BarnevognverkstedNo
@BarnevognverkstedNo 4 жыл бұрын
Yes, it would probably hold up under those conditions. The seat size will still feel small after a certain age of course, though. The big problem with this though, imo, is that a lot of new parents who think this is the only way they'll use their stroller, will find that to not be the case, down the line.

Hi everybody, There's been a lot of talk lately about 'Greenwashing,' which is the process by which businesses promote their products as 'sustainable', 'eco-friendly' and so on, while in actual fact, their manufacturing processes and business models clearly show this to be nothing more than a marketing ploy. As soon as I heard about this concept (and even that several major companies have been penalized for it), I realized that this practice really defines the approach of virtually every major manufacturer in the stroller industry. If you'd be interested in reading more about this, please check out our article: 'Rampant Greenwashing in the Stroller Industry,' here: www.patreon.com/posts/rampant-in-38755846

I have seen the yoyo and a few other ultra compacts in person but what would really help is to try it out on cobblestone. I’m in Paris and we have quite a bit of pedestrian streets with cobblestones. No stroller is going to have a smooth ride on cobblestone and that’s fine, but I have no idea how to figure out what’s durable with regular cobblestone use. It’d be helpful to see if it feels sturdy over a rocky path. That said, everyone has the yoyo here so I feel like that speaks for itself.

I’ll also note this is my second and last kid, and my second stroller. I have an UPPAbaby Cruz that is great but too big for subway. It pains me to drop another 500 on a yoyo at this point. Hence the indecision and overanalysis! 😂

@BarnevognverkstedNo
@BarnevognverkstedNo 4 жыл бұрын
At this point, I'd only judge it as worse in the loss of the free rain cover, but as I said in the video, the suspension has been altered quite a bit, and while it seems to be a good thing at the moment, only time will tell if the changes will be a problem, while we know that the Yoyo+ holds up very well over time. So for now, I'm going with just not much of an improvement. :)

It shouldn't really be noticably loose if you bought it new - just the tiniest bit of give at the handle-locking mechanisms. If it's more than this, I would contact your distributor. I had a viewer with this situation previously, and it turned out to be a manufacturing defect.

I got the Yoyo2 yesterday and so far I don't hate it but I'm not hooked. I have never owned the previous versions but I am a little surprised how stiff and rigid the Yoyo2 feels. Like no suspension at all. I cannot imagine how bad the previous models are. It isn't worth the amount of money it costs. So far I like the performance of the Ergobaby Metro waaaaaay better. Only drawback of the Metro is the sloping seat design. There is a stroller called Mamakiddies Gogo Sport I think it is manufactured in Poland. It costs less than €100. My friend has it for like a year now and it is almost as good as my brand new Yoyo2.

I bought one and gave it away after putting it together. It was so flimsy, didn't feel safe for my child to be on it. The recline was bad, very unpractical and hard to put up. My baby seemed confortable though, even though she didn't lay back, since the seat is too lied back, she likes to seat more upright.
