@@Rare-One Man, accidentally murdering your own child carries an incomparable regret. Even if accidentally, he killed his daughter himself and that too when he was intentionally murdering other innocents also with families present in that temple. It’s only after their deaths that Kratos realized how wrong he was in blindly murdering people when Ares commanded him to. In this scene, Ethan’s more shocked and horrified if anything on learning that someone else would do that to his child.

@@saulcastro381 From what I gathered, Rose, being the perfected version of Eveline, means that instead of taking a long time to semi control her victims like Eveline does, Rose does it a lot quicker with a lot stronger of a control on much more people at once. So instead of taking weeks to control a small family, she can control large amounts of people in a few days, maybe even less

People forget about Jake, Sherry and the girl Leon and Krauser saved(I doubt they're going to introduce her in the future). Adding Rose, we will have a new set of protagonist. If Rose is trained under Chris' supervision. Then she is the most dangerous B.O.W up to date. Hell, Umbrella trying to achieve that; a B.O.W that retains its humanity and intelligence. I fear that Chris, Jill and Leon(high possibility because of vendetta) might retire in the near future. We might get the chance to see Rebecca again since she is in the R&D and wants to eradicate the biowarfare by producing vaccines. Rose' condition might catch her interest.

Jill also kinda gets an unique power herself after gets cured from T-Virus infection. And we still don't know what happen to her after RE5. Also Leon is nowhere after Vendetta. Kinda hoped infinite darkness were set after vendetta but it's actually set between RE4 and Degeneration kinda makes me disappointed.

My headcanon is that the Duke is not a member of the four houses, even though that was concept art, but the actual collective faith incarnate of the Village before Miranda took over the Village! He really cared about the welfare of Ethan and his mission as well as cut dialogs of Ethan doing good challnges during his hunt. While no one can remember the Duke anymore or pray to him, his still grants boons in terms of food, so; the Lost Village Food God?

Gotta love how Jake was bashed as the child of an already established character implied at the end of the installment he was introduced in to be the Main of the next one and no one was having that and Jake is just a regular human, just strong and athletic/acrobatic, but 9 has Rose, a literal Bioweapon child of infected parent(s) and straight up has powers and is implied to be the strongest to have said powers and heavily implied at the end to be the Main of the next title and yet no one has said anything against this? Did most of the fans through the Original Main Saga just die or did y'all forget what you knew or felt about Resident Evil? I understand that 7 and RE2make both are absolutely AWESOME but have y'all been that blindsided because ever since then they've clearly proven that those were the exceptions and not the rules Or has the company blessed some of y'all with special priveledges and or free stuff? RE games have always dropped characters and plotlines. Remember the Hunk fakeout that he was Chris in Revelations original plans? How Carlos, Billy, and the myriad of other characters are dropped? Remember 7 literally had "Chris" at the end work for Umbrella like it was a twist then a dlc called Not a Hero was made where Chris is pretty much the same character? It took so long for Sherri to come back and now nothing.

More like Wesker being killed off was a blow to the franchise, Capcom bricked themselves and made Jake and peoples reactions was highly negative. Jake wasnt a bad character overall but people were annoyed.

@@blackoutemzz2674 the plots used to be simple B-movie zombie stories and is now about government conspiracies, mind controlling molds, vampire women, and a man who can control metal objects with his mind. I still love the games and stories today, but you can't deny that the story writers have kind of gone off the rail with sensible people likely just trying to piece together what they can.
