BAC Mono top speed & 1/4 mile run on public roads, Autobahn heaven

This was a nice sunday afternoon, I had some time left and didn't know where to drive, so I decided to take the Mono to the Autobahn for some unrestricted pulls without having to worry about my drivers license. I wasn't looking for the best possible times, I just wanted to enjoy the BAC Mono's full potential legally, I wanted to try the top speed and along the way I had the Dragy with me to see what 1/4 mile time it does. Off course, starting alongside the road in debris isn't a recipe for fast times, but I get an idea and the experience.
The engine is such a blast, having a true racing engine and gearbox makes such a big difference with a fast road car.
Doing all this legally on public roads is something we now take for granted when living near Germany, but I am sure when my kids are my age, they cannot enjoy this insanity. So I am trying to remember it an put it on camera for everyone to see.
For people outside of Europe this must be Autobahn heaven

Very true, allthough you are very low in the Mono and the winddeflector sends bugs over your head. Stones not so much, so thats why I dont do hard driving behind other cars

Aren't you scared of rocks/debris flying into your face when driving at such speeds without a helmet? and what about bugs :DDD

You have to experience to know I think. But I am so low in the Mono that my nose is underneath the body, there is barely any wind underneath the hairline. Virtually no debris or bugs in the face area. I would never drive like this in an Atom or X bow, but in this one it is fairly safe. For longer journeys I use a mask

Whereas in Cyprus I must wear a helmet due to our bad roads with lots of rocks. Already been hit many times.

Honestly i was thinking the top would be 250 or something, but it makes sence its 230 becouse its made for the circuit and not for top speed, anyways love the car, hope to see u one day

Stock is 275, but mine has de Silverstone track gearing in it, so lowered top speed, but more acceleration. It is also possible to change last gear to one size bigger and do 250, every track has its own perfect setting. I like this gearing for the acceleration in 3rd and up as I dont drive harder than 240 very often anyway👌🏻

You press on the + on the home screen and go for “custom”, there you can make your own speed trap

I'm 18 learning how to drive so what your saying is once you change gear you press the clutch so it doesn't trackle thanks

I dont understand the question, but on full throttle you just pull the lever, on city driving I use the clutch and than pull the lever

Haha no, I have the track gearing installed for lower top speed and more acceleration, I dont care about driving 275, I want to be fast on track👌🏻

If you want something fast and mostly fun at track this will be your best option. Im pretty sure you cant get anything faster on track for that money than this one

#Zerone Jedes Fahrzeug hat Nachteile.. aber es gibt kein anderes Auto für 250k was so exotisch ist und dazu wie ein Formelwagen in klein aussieht. Selbst wenn jemand schon Bugattis oder andere Autos auf den Level hat würde er sich trotzdem ein BAC Mono kaufen, denn der einzigste Nachteil ist die Höchstgeschwindigkeit aber die R Version gibt es ja auch noch..

The indicators of speed and track are just the gopro iphone app, it uses the build in GPS of the GoPro starting from 5 black. It is a shit app to be honest…
