You've found your niche with unusual and different content, and the credibility Tiff brings - there are a gazzillion channels for AMG, RS, M Sport, Lambo's, McLaren's, Pagani's, Bugatti's et al. Whilst there is no dispute that they are all fabulous cars, it's content like this that I absolutely love.

I've not heard from Tiff in quite a while. This bit is really well done!! Is he a regular on this channel? He has always (with a bit a entertaining theatrics occasionally) presented an accurate, informative road test, regardless of who he was reporting for. Tiff is always worth watching... even if the car might be questionable. ;^)

Much like a motorcycle, never drive it without some sort of effective eye protection! Not to say that a helmet isn't an excellent idea; much more comfortable and much easier to pay attention to your driving. As fast as that little bugger is, I'd want to pay attention!!

The ownership isn't quite as pleasurable. They shake themselves to bits, not a problem for a race car you strip between races, but it evolves into a Morgan. Bare carbon undertray looks good but damages easily, go for a wrap or painted. There is no warranty and spare parts are embargoed by BAC so even though you could buy them directly from the supplier such as joints, springs, brake rotors etc as you would for any Formula Ford/Audi or single seater they won't sell them, not because they are bespoke, but BAC forbids the suppliers selling to owners. So basically they charge Ferrari prices for Ford parts and you have to get them from Liverpool rather than your countries supplier.

thank you for the reply as always- what a great choice. I am going to rant away for a minute. when it comes to 5 series bmw-s the newer the better. Cant say that about 3 series. full potential of performance can not be used at less than perfect circumstances because of generally overly stiff suspension and on top of that turbocharged engine will exaggerate the effect of a car getting snatchy on the limit. Car manufacturers are trying to get their numbers out and people are buying cars due to some figures. In general this means that lots of performance oriented cars become very one sided in some ways due to the demand for numbers that will play little positive relevance lets say in normal road conditions or slower speed circuits where the mechanical grip of a vehicle plays a key part. Nurburgring is an amazing place overhyped. This is where these BAC mono tracktoys are brilliant. They only have to do one thing- be fun and as light as possible. The E28 m5 has got poor seating positioning but it was the best of old 5 series bmw-s with its revolutionary output for a 5 seater saloon car and it had compliant ride that maintained it's composure on undulating roads. Modern car manufacturing could learn a lot from old days when driving was all about driver imputs. Last year or when was it, i sort of can't get a hold off how fast these new models are coming out but mercedes and bmw really stepped up their supersaloon game with new clutch based awd systems that let the cars rotate neutrally into the middle of the apex with no initial intrusion going through the front wheels and then send up to 50 percent of the power to the back when stepping on the loud pedal after the midpart of the corner giving traction and maintaining chassis balance.. These systems are beneficial for corner entry and exit, maintaining the advantages of rear wheel drive and awd car in mechanical harmony without any dynamical disadvantages and we will see these machines tuned up to 1000 bhp and both e63s and 2018 bmw m5 would get the power down when necessary without any trouble. Anyways good choice whether it is the previous generation 5 series or the new one and good luck reading my future comments and keep on making new videos so i could rant another day :D :D :D

Hi, thanks for the comment. For sure but they’re both about driving pleasure. It was a very basic example. Do you need to spend 10x the money to get a less exciting experience. It’s all very subjective of course 👍

You're right... the Mono beat the P1 by 4.9 seconds around this same track and the P1 beat the LaFerrari in a shootout (in which Tiff drove). In other words, they aren't competing with one another because the BAC Mono out-performs the LaFerrari by a long shot.
