It's amazing how beautiful a simple melody can be when played by someone who feels it. Top-notch trumpeting and organ playing!

Musicians , like Kevin should be running the education establishments of this country. Even the most unruly child would sit up and take note if the head teacher in a school played this hymn !

I never understood why the English title for this song is "Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring" when the literal translation of the German title is "Jesus Remains My Joy". The German title and lyrics give the song a far more personal meaning.

I've played this piece myself many times, and it is always a joy to play, as well as hearing you perform this. Exceptional intonation!

I came here to see another performance of this incredible piece for comparison after seeing (on youtube) Stjepan Hauser playing this on cello with the Zagreb Orchestra in a classical concert he did there in 2018. I humbly suggest others do the same...you will NOT be disappointed!
