Ariel is an adult though and should be treated as such. In my opinion, I don't feel like she needs to have a helicopter parent when she is a grown adult.

In the end, people questioned the family but they were right and their reaction towards Zach is valid. He's a player and the Finale proved it all.

Ariel is awseome...she will have no problem finding the right man for her (and her family). Very happy her brother asked tough questions! I don't blame her family for being skeptical. I can imagine if she's the next Bachelorette (if she decides to go there and if it's after Charity's season)...I can see her brother being similar to Charity's brother (going undercover)!

9:52 “I’m going to let myself enjoy these emotions and be authentically happy.” Ariel’s ability to appreciate the present instead of fretting over the uncertainty of the future is such a healthy attitude. She embodies an excellent balance between showing and sharing love with your partner when together while still thriving and revelling in life when apart. She does not fall to pieces when they separate rather chooses to reflect back and cherish the time they banked together. It is not my place to say whether or not Zach and Ariel are a match or they belong together, but I can say, based on what Ariel has shown on-screen, her personality traits and approach to life lay an incredibly solid foundation for a healthy loving relationship as well as a fantastic exemplary mother (should she desire to become one).

She learned this from her parents. It comes from having a ‘secure’ attachment style vs. ‘insecure’ attachment style. The attachment style you describe in the beginning in known as Anxious-Preoccupied vs. the latter, which is Secure. It’s from attachment theory in psychology. People can re-pattern and heal their attachment style in adulthood as well to become secure. Our attachment styles are developed early in life from the way our primary caregivers respond to us, treat us, as well as what they do and don’t provide, and what they model for us.

These were extremely insightful and thought-provoking questions. The answers, on the other hand...left much to be desired. Unrelated, the word “truly” has been used so much in excess that it has lost any meaning in the context of this show and, at this point, almost always signals a hint of deception on some level.

Anyone know if her mom is in the picture? Ariel seems reserved and sensitive and Zach seems goofy. Nothing’s wrong with being either one but the potential doesn’t seem to be there. He might have been scared off by the intensity of her family. I know they were in the right to question and be protective of her but no one wants potential in-law trouble.

I don't think they were aware of how much the family can affect who he chooses. The brother needs to be respectful, he knows what the shows about and his sister chose to go on. So be there if she needs you but this was a turn-off

Honestly, her family is kinda the problem. It seems based on her family's opinion she will either accept or reject a guy. This might make it more difficult for her to find someone.

What Ariel brother said was weird “Ariel does not only need to accept you the whole family does” . Zach’s job would not be to please her whole family just her. And if they don’t except him who cares thank-you next; Truthfully it’s families like these who like to drive people away and not let anyone find peace in their relationship.

I agree with you completely because they aren't treating her like an adult. I would be concerned that they would interfere with her marriage too much if she was married. I also get the feeling that they would never think anybody was good enough for Ariel.
