I'm going to do a little mini series called, "Back 2 Basics" and cover each step of shoeing a horse and go into detail a bit more about what I'm doing so that it may help you if you're learning or if you're just plain interested & entertained by farrier work! If I were a vet I’d be talking about ALL that god awful toe… but from my perspective you have a nice balanced foot, really enjoy watching you work!

Once again, you produce QUALITY videos! Not everyone can teach buddy, but you can. Believe me,I know it when I see it. A teacher has to be able to do more than be good at the craft. They have to be able to "relay" the information to the audience in a way that ALL skill levels can understand. Kinda like "preaching to an congregation of all ages". ;) You can tell the horses love you too. I for one, really appreciate the effort you put into these videos.

So do you also wear shorts when working on a fidgeting/unruly horse? I've got a few pairs of jeans with rips in the denim and can only imagine how it'd feel if it had been my leg. Thanks for another great video.

Fortunately I don't have many horses like that anymore these days but I have worn shorts in the summertime months for many many years now and haven't had that issue(knock on wood lol).
