Hello, friends! I apologize for having been MIA for this past month! I am Back at Brown for my Sophomore Year, and my friends and I are starting a new project for my channel. Weekly episodes (trying to), vlog-style commentary, and day-to-day adventures of being a student in the notorious Ivy League. NEW EPISODES EVERY WEEKEND.
Follow my college journey as I navigate the Ivy Halls as a first-generation student and keep up with my life as I learn to balance adulthood and scholarly expeditions.
I am an 18-year old student at Brown University studying Neuroscience on the Pre-Med track. I am also a cheerleader and an avid weightlifter (turned POWERLIFTER!). This is my life!

That 250 lbs dead lift was impressive! My wife and I were just back on campus the weekend of September 21st. I even spoke with and took a photo with President Paxson during my visit. Even though it’s been over 40 years since we graduated, your feelings and experiences are very similar to ours. I ran track and majored in Engineering. Thank you! I recently pulled 265! I got into powerlifting this year and am now the Ivy League champ in the 52kg class! Just a quick sneak peek into the next video whenever I get around to uploading it. Wow - I would love the chance to talk to you and your wife! Thank you for your well wishes!

Are there any prerequisites to be on the Brown cheer team? Like are you required to have certain tumbling or stunting skills?

I am sure you have to have tumbling skills. I know that in community colleges they have cheer teams where if you don't have tumbling skills you can still be on a team. You just can't be on the competition teams but you do cheer at every games. But university is completely different.

There are no pre-req's! We welcome all levels :) We absolutely love teaching and are very collaborative.
