Always love family and friends getting together ❤️ Beautiful van, still can't believe the difference from day one, amazing achievement. will be gutted when this chapter is complete but looking forward to the next one of you both making memories whilst exploring in Taylor x

It's great to see Taylor again guy's, Nick back in his element doing finishing stuff to the van,Leigh you'll have to get your thinking cap on and decide about what you're going to do about the door curtains, you guy's exhaust me with all the running about you have to do😅Nick my hubby's mouth was watering when he saw the gammon, of which he love's, looking forward to you're next vlog as usuall ❤Xx

I can imagine how frustrating it must’ve been to discover you had three days of slow motion, soundless footage, but you did a very good job of speeding it up in the inserts so that it looks like normal speed. It’s a good thing no huge major event happened during those three days, though, some of what I enjoy about these videos is the day-to-day life as opposed to the trips. It’s the variety that you provide with these vlogs that keep this channel interesting.

When I walked over to our local retail park I pass the commercial garage where my husband works and there were loads of camper vans in the van shop yard waiting for annual services before the nicer weather arrives. As an auto electrician my husband always has jump leads in the back of his car and services his and our daughter’s little Fiat (she named Fiona)😂

You can shorten the door curtain. Not necessary to reach the floor. You could do window van shades.

Ahhhhh, finally we’re home😊 so good to see you back at the lodge & the beautiful Taylor is looking amazing, then to top it alllllll off the family is there as well as the Disney Wives & Hannah, I mean it doesn’t get any better really, you could put the slow mo video up with some music & I would still watch it😊, Love Ya’s ❤❤ PS: What juice did you put in the slow cooker to cook the gammon? ❤❤

Aw poor Nick,your eye looked really sore. When we do gammon in the slow cooker we put fresh veg in with a stock cube and it makes the most tastiest chunky soup,and put bits of meat on top.Delicious!

Just a little tip for you. Get some of those museum dots to put on bottom of plant so it won’t move around when you drive. I’ve seem other van people do this to items

Try Gammon in Cola and slow cooker inserts just save the washing up. We always good over night or make sure it's on low it just peels off, shreds and lasts for days (unless I eat it all before the sandwichs time ) lol

Van’s looking great! Glad those curtains are going though 😊. Maybe it’s psychological that Nick keeps referring to lockdown instead of the apartment. Sounds like you’re finding it a restrictive place to be instead of a homely sanctuary. Don’t get me wrong, I think it’s lovely, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see you decide to rent it out or something in the future and just go away somewhere for the enforced break from the Lodge. But you’ve both worked hard to give yourselves options. Look forward to seeing how things progress in the future 😊

I love the colour now of curtains, at 1st wasnt sure, but now all in with cushions love the colour, still think those kitchen cupboards look grey, 👌

I have black out curtains in my bedroom and they are just the same as yours regards the feel being stiff it’s because the lining is made of a rubber material. Try washing them but you have to hang them whilst they are wet as you. As you can’t put them in a dryer or fold them as the backing sticks together but it will soften them a bit.

Laughed out loud at the “you sweet pea, not we” 😂 Also - I feel your pain re pressing the wrong button on the camera! I deleted 6 days worth of our Florida honeymoon pics and videos in 2018, by pressing “delete all” by mistake!

Try washing the curtains to wash the starch out then ironing them. Should be softer then. 20:44

Wash the curtains it will take the stiffness out of the fabric they look nice and match the seating

Same you cant go into lodge in mid January/ February, just have to go to Lanzarote, Tenerife, if getting bored with disney florida for the month

I wouldn’t get white curtains they will look a bit clinical I’d get a grey or something warmer looking. I take it you will get black out curtains so no one outside can see your lights

So the van still struggles to start in cold temps with the correct voltage, still needs new glow plugs I see.

nope it starts fine the issue is the DC to dc charger trickle drains the starter battery 12.1v isnt normal voltage for the battery, that and it hasnt been started for 5 weeks

and yet there’s enough power to crank, but it knocks into life as at least 1 of the glow plugs isn’t warming the cylinder enough to initially combust. I’ll keep waiting.

Gawwwwwwd I hope that wasn't because of me suggesting slo-mo and higher FPS that you lost 3 days of footage 😬😅 had I done that myself I wouldn't stop beating myself up losing all that footage lol

My oldest jess, is allergic to Cats, but up till she was a around 3 she fine, but we visit a family friend 20 yrs late & found out she allergic to cats 🙈🙈

So what’s the difference between gammon and ham? Is it just a completely uncooked ham? I hear you talk about making a gammon, but then I heard you referred to it as ham as well….. we don’t get gamine here unless, of course, you go to a meat market and even then in the bigger cities, you still might have a problem getting it… All of ours are already pre-cooked
