Nestled between Mount Irvine and Grafton lies a secluded patch of paradise. The adventure begins with the access the beach. The unmarked entrance is directly opposite Gleneagles Drive and visitors must park along Shirvan Road. After passing an abandoned estate property, prospective beach-goers begin a trek over a cliff side trail to journey to the beach set below the cliff of rugged rocks.
At 500 metres in length, the Bay is short but one of the most beautiful beaches in Tobago. Large rocks spot the coastline while pretty small fish swim in the crystal clear waters close to the shore. Boulders on the western end make for an exciting snorkelling and scuba diving setting. A natural pool is filled with the tide as water flows in and out; a hidden spot that nature seems to have created just for two.
There are no washroom facilities, lifeguards or restaurant and bars on this beach which is something to consider if you intend to spend all day lounging on the isolated beach.

I like that you keep it real and mention the risks involved! That said, this was another one of my favourite natural beaches on Tobago. I see that a lot of the natural bush that made it extremely secluded has been chopped away! You are a real ambassador for T&T and watching your videos is really tempting me back for a visit despite my security concerns! 👏🏾👍🏾🙏🏾 🇬🇧🇸🇪🇹🇹

Talking about crime: I was wandering around on my own in both Tobago & Trinidad and nothing happened to me. People were very friendly and in Trinidad I even got a lift back to my accommodation from a lady who worked at the local doctor's surgery! 😄I didn't go out after dark and was aware of my surroundings. at all times. Where I live here in the UK- there was stabbings on the park opposite where I live. I agree Alan, you won't go anywhere if you think about the chances of being an unfortunate victim of crime. x

A good number of Tobagonians know of this beach so it's not that hidden....for most Trinis however IT IS. I appreciate that Alan is willing to showcase it..... The masses will still stay at Store Bay & Pigeon Pt.

I have to say: Thanks for yuh 2 cents man! It may seem insignificant, but imagine if the 99.9% good-minded Trinbagonians kept adding their 2 cents too - there’s no way the 0.1% bad-minded ones could win out! Remember: “Evil only prevails when good men say nothing“. So please keep adding your 2 cents brother… I will keep adding mine and the next man down the road and the lady across the street and so on and so forth, and that’s how we will keep T&T the beautiful paradise that we all love and cherish ❤ 👊 🇹🇹

Unbelievable. F'n unbelievable. I went to Back Bay just after watching your video. Nothing to do with the video, coincidentally, I had planned to go there. I parked on the grass and went for a half-hour swim. When I returned to my van, the driver-side window was smashed. There was nothing of value in the vehicle. I had been warned about the place. Told that that's the reason why people hardly go there, even though it's such a beautiful beach.

Hi. I've been waiting 4 months for a settlement from Caribbean Airlines. I had a 9.5hr flight delay and the airlines said in an email that because of Air Passenger Protection Regulations, as outlined by the Canadian Transportation Agency, I am entitled to compensation in the sum of CAD500. That was for months ago! I have opened 2 tickets with there Help Line to ask 'what is going on?'. Nothing. I slept in the Toronto airport overnight because of that delay. Coming back was a 3.5 delay, missed my connection and then slept 'again' at the Toronto airport. You say they are a good airlines? NOOOOOO!

Trinidad rivers ,waterfalls, beaches are beautiful. But not safe . Wicked bandits will rob you and interfere with your vehicle . It's like we have to visit other countries to enjoy these beautiful places. Shame on Trinidad and Tobago 4:06

There are places in the world where it is safe, and I have lived in them, but you have to use a fine teeth comb to find these places. Unfortunately, the media news, etc, only shows the negatives because that is what people want to watch. Where I live right now, I leave my front door open for the neighbors and their children to pop in any time. My life is exactly how it used to be back in the day in TT. That being said, I will continue to admire TT from afar. ❤
