Only now I got the clear idea of Back Button Focus advantage. Thanks for explaining this way.

Excellent video. But the Menu settings are not the same for the Crop sensor cameras such as canon 800D. To get the Back Button Focus in 800D type of cameras, Change the camera mode to M or any other mode other than Auto. This back button focus won't work on Auto mode. Go to Menu, navigate to Settings(spanner icon) and navigate to 4th option which is Custom Functions (C.Fn) and select it. Then navigate to option (12) which is C.Fn: Operation/Others Shutter/AE Lock button and Click on option 1:AE Lock/AF And now you are set. you can now Click on * or (-)zoom out button which is on the top right hand side of the Camera. This will set the focus in your subject and lock the focus. This will make the pictures of the subject Sharp. Unless you are changing the distance between the camera and the subject. Hope who ever is reading this understood what I am trying to explain here. Good luck. 👍📷

Sir Thank you so much for this useful vdo.i have canon 1500d in which I just activated bbf from function menu. In this vdo you said that bbf function will not work while auto mode. But in my camera this function is working only in auto mode n not in manual mode. Pls guide
