[Back from the Brink 护心] Based on the novel of the same name by Jiulu Feixiang, twenty years ago, Tianyao's bones and tendons were torn out by his lover Suying, the Sect Leader of the Guanghan Sect. She sealed various parts of his body away with the powers of the five elements. By chance, Tianyao's soul escaped the seal ten years ago. He knew that his dragon bone was sealed in the lake of a certain village, so he took over the body of a boy who had just died and waited for an opportunity to retrieve the dragon bone. The appearance of Yanhui brings him hope. It turns out that Yanhui has a dragon scale protecting her heart, which means that she has dragon blood inside her, which can help Tianyao break the seal. Tianyao begins to make use of Yanhui to look for his other body parts. Yanhui tries to escape, but instead of getting away, she gets closers and closer to Tianyao. Tianyao is also touched by Yanhui, who has risked her life several times to protect him. As more and more of their past come to light, Yanhui discovers the unbreakable bond between her and Tianyao. The origin of the dragon scale protecting her heart, the relationship between her master, Lingxiao and Suying... She finds herself embroiled in more and more mysteries.

After finishing the drama I just fell in love with Tianyao and Yan Hui ❤ Don't know why people are dropping this it has a good storyline reasonable leads and amazing side characters . It's funny light hearted fast paced with adorable chemistry between the leads and great character development. No one is silly or annoying except suying and lingfei 😅 Above all it's happy ending for everyone . Though the ending is little confusing but it's worth the time ❤

Cute handsome face who can sing and dance but it was his role in Lost You Forever that gave Tan Jianci the breakthrough because he was not just a cute face in that drama series.

Yanhui seems like a lovely girl and Tianyao has a tragic past. When I read the synopsis of the story, it said that the dragon was betrayed by the one he loved. I wanted to know if the traitor was with the dragon because he forced her and she took revenge or if she was using him for her own purposes. It turned out to be the second choice and the Taoist who claims to be good is a snake. As usual in this genre, these sects that say "we are the good guys" do quite questionable things. Poor little foxes 😢😢.

Think many of us think the same because we came from till the end of the moon drama. I think youku wanted to have this drama after TTEOTM drama since there is similarity. I'm ready for sad or happy ending. Youku likes to give sad drama ending it seems but I stay hopeful for a happy end and if not I go back to watch clips of Overlord and Tiger and Rose happy end drama at least.

Main male lead Neo Hou/The Dragon sings one of this series songs. Also, I found it interesting that one of the supports - singer/actress Sa Ding Ding who is most well known as the singer to Ashes of Love ending theme song and starred in that series is also in this series. I don't know if she sings any songs for it yet. She usually does like in The Long Ballad, The Blue Whisper and The Starry Love (connected to Ashes of Love) series by both starring in them and sings a song as well. Her character in this is Ying Huo. And the ever fantastic male singer Zhou Shen/Charlie Zhou sings the beginning theme song. Again, he fooled me as I thought it was a woman singing instead. Last, singer/actor Liu Yuning sings a song for this. I loved his 2ndmale lead character in The Long ballad as the mean guy who changes for the better and falls for Zhao Li Si/Lucy Zhao.

I just finished this drama it's one of my favorites it's so good!! in the first episodes I love the main casts already, their chemistry is amazing and undeniable, they have their own charms but chemistry on top they made me kick my feet and sob as well. Many of us came from watching Till the End of the Moon. I watched a lot already. Some part of it is funny 😂 and I keep watching it. I didn't think I purge it but I did because some stuff is similar to TTEOTM drama but different story plot.

You know....I too watched till the end of the moon from the first day it was released on KZfaq,waiting the new episode every day to not miss it but unfortunately I was too soft hearted girl to not be able to watch from the some episode somehow..........I was too sad to continue my watch 😓😓😥😮😢😢

good wuxia/adventure/ romance drama from ep 1 to ep 40 good characters well played amazing acting no dull moments adventures and a gripping plot no loose ends no holes strong couple leads (no stupidity in their romance, flawless and natural chemistry) The FL was smart strong the whole series i highly recommend and ... happy ending :)

Just finished the drama😥 and yes it was a wonderful journey from first episode to last i had really enjoyed the drama😀(and this is my favourite drama)..all the characters (and their growth) are really great portrait by the actors and main lead chemistry are on another level❤😘i wish i could see them in another drama.. i really love them.. and yes there is no intimacy scene that much other than kiss( which i really appreciate) cinematography is also great with a wonderful story and ost(which i have never skip).. And lastly it has happy ending(which not satisfied me but ok at least they meet) So guys go for it😊

Well worth watching. I love how the relationships in this drama series are quite cute and the character development in the plot is fantastic. The actors are quite good and more importantly, they are a perfect fit for their roles in this drama series.

This is my first Neo Hou drama and it is his gorgeous looks that made me stay with the first 2 episodes. But it was a touching OST sung by a male singer during the drama that made me stay with the series. Imagine my pleasant surprise when I found out that OST was actually sung by Neo Hou! I hope the story has a happy ending.

I still cannot get over this drama it was very emotional and funny and Ill never forget it I'm glad I watched this drama the first day it came out. All of the people that watched it when it was finished wont understand the pain of waiting for the episode and sometimes the episodes were delayed but overall this was a great Drama will rewatch.

People who didn't watch this masterpiece is missing out an amazing drama, the chemistry, great plot, emotion is well shown. I cried when the little spirits tried to protect dragon king by putting back his floating scales 😭please don't judge the first episode, I swear you have to give it a chance because it's so good, they're funny and cute as well through out the next ones. I still can't move on from it now. I really became a fan of the two main leads lmao.

Great cdrama! I have watched the 36 episodes available till now and wow! a total rollercoaster of emotions, adventures and excellent stories! Very good FL and ML, and supporting actors. Zhou Ye a total discovery, and Neo Hou a great partner. I cannot wait for the release of the following episodes! perhaps I will restart watching it from the begining 😄in the meantime. I got hooked on this cdrama.. It's worth to watch I should say. It's a feel good drama. Not so many sweet moments and romance. But the plot is great especially the first half. Happy ending yes. As for me, I'd want a special episode, or another ending 😅 the last few episodes weren't so exciting for me but not to the point of dropping the drama. Well, we have different preferences. It's worth to binge watch.

I already watched this. The female lead is in the 2022 drama with actor Dylan Wang called Love in Flames of War. I found out the lead actor Neo in Back from the Brink is the lead actor in A Girl Like Me drama.
