Believe it or not, Black has been on the show from the beginning, all the way back when Craig Kilborn hosted. The man stands alone as the only original cast member. And still hilarious. Black is unstoppable.

Agreed. Although, I would also add Leonardo Di Caprio, in Catch Me if you Can, and Timothée Chalamet, in Call Me by Your Name. Chalamet looked so young in that film that I was disturbed when I first watched the trailer.

I've never had a problem with people deaging the actors as long as it's convincing I'm all right with it. Like Will Smith In Gemini man they essentially took me back to the fresh Prince of Bel-Air with that one if he was into more dramatic roles at the time. But if it looks weird then no thank you. And to your point about just adding random actors to younger roles, the first thing that comes up is Spider-Man. A lot of people had problems with Tobey Maguire and trying to believe he's a high schooler turned superhero. Of course people love him now because he's such a iconic version of Spidey but people still critique it still to this day

If we can alter the face enough to de-age an actor, might as well as well put their face on a younger body double. We do it when you need the actor to play two people in the same scene.

@@nikolnolastname4473 it's a solution I think would allow for a Back to the Future follow-up movie and allow Michael J Fox to still be in it despite his disability. After that awesome deep fake with Tom Holland, I would cast him as Marty Jr and be the films main protagonist. We can have Fox as he is in the present and when Holland goes to the past and meets his father, he can play as Fox's body double (or someone of similar hieght and build) and a de aged cgi face can be superimposed with Fox dubbing his lines. It's tricky but with today's technology they could probably pull it off.

The only thing I want to point out is that PEN15 was created by Anna Konkle and Maya Erskine (the two main actors) and is based on their real-life middle school experiences. I am pretty sure it was an intentional creative choice for them to play themselves, especially since it's a comedy.
