There are quite a few nuggets of instruction in this video, the most important of which is general: just because I know what to do does not mean I can do it. And watching this video as I desperately try to impress you, dear viewer, with my change of foot from back spin to forward spin, I realise that my idea of doing a forward pivot is good, but that I do not get right on the back inside edge at the beginning of the forward spin. So it is not only more practice that I need, but also it would help me to bear in mind the importance of eliminating the forward outside edges at the beginning of the spin. The general lesson here is twofold then: 1. practice makes better (never perfect), and 2. one is never too experienced to learn something new about oneself. So take away the specific technique as well as the general learning principles!

This is from the famous René Descartes "Cogito ergo sum", which means "I think, therefore I am". "Cogito ergo facio" is Latin for "I think, therefore I do".
