I don’t know much about hip-hop, and only started watching Knox because of his Ren reactions, but I have found him to be an intelligent, thoughtful and articulate person, and his breakdowns are really detailed.

Whether people like his style or not, Knox can definitely write. When you do the other one from Knox (Stan), it will be useful to know that Eugene is the real name of the Michelle Show. I'm looking forward to that last one.

Dotta had some kind of an arrangement with MichelleShow (that's the guy with dreads), don't know if he payed or they're friends, but he went after ppl from Knox's reaction-friends circle, "the Avengers", I think after Cliff Beats the most. That's why Knox blew the fuse and dissed him back with "Stan". And some 24hrs later with this one. Just bc he can. Ah, the man speaking at the end here is ThatSingerReactions, one of the Avengers :)

What I don’t get is why doesn’t MichelleShow just do reactions to Dotta’s original work? I know Michelle’s thing is that he’s the #1 hater, but he does have older vids of ✨glowing✨ reactions to SOAD and RATM. Why doesn’t he big up his buddy Dotta instead of just stirring 💩?

Knox is a real scholar when it comes to hip hop and breaking down bars/meanings. Theres a reason why he has 1m+ subs on KZfaq. I personally think he's a mid rapper in the main, but he understands the art of rhyme and bars better than pretty much anyone in this rap reaction game. By all means delve into his discography, but it's also worth having a look at a few of his reactions/breakdowns - especially to songs you're familiar with. His insight into bars and rhyme schemes is crazy good!

Mid rapper? Tell me you haven’t heard Knox Hill’s music without telling me lol. Knox is incredibly versatile as an artist, but his storytelling tracks really separate him IMO. “Pot & The Kettle” was artistic genius. “The Internet” is an amazing concept track as is his latest release “Family Curse”

@@mikebecker504 it's not that I don't rate Knox for his penmanship and ideas - I think he's a good artist. But is delivery can be very hit and miss. I guess that's the byproduct of trying to go outside the usual boundaries of a genre. Similar to Ren in a way in that you'll find a lot of hardcore rap fans who simply won't like half of his catalogue because it goes against all the tropes of rap. Doesn't make either a bad artist (I'm a fan of both).

The guy talking at the end I believe was “That Singer Reactions”. Him and Knox are friends, but he’s absolutely right. Knox is a master with the pen and also at breaking down bars. His reactions pretty much catch every intricacy of a song, and he can write some very interesting lyrics that are intricately crafted.

Much like you, Knox is a rap encyclopedia, so if you ever ask yourself "does he know this line/artist or history" the answer is usually yes. I think he gets dismissd a lot not just as a "whyte rapper" but because he has that all-American jock look too and was a foootball (soccer) player for so long. If you check out any of his more recent music, his song due out today and another caled The Pot and the Kettle were both filmed with Samuel Perry Falvey who is Ren's mai videographer for stuff like the tales and Money Game. Knox visited the MG3 shoot to meet them all and hit it off with Sam, who has helped him do some more creative stuff. So Knox has kinda become part of the RenCU (ren cinematic universe).

The funny thing about reacting to the diss songs out of order is that Knox put out a diss to Dotta before this one titled Stan Remix. That's what Knox meant by the bar "24 hours and no reply" This was a fun reaction regardless bro. Love that you actually understand bars.

@@notrashtolerated Knox was one of the first to do an interview with Ren after the success of Hi-Ren, and they became friends. So Ren invited him to England to watch the shooting of Money Game III and while being there Knox shot the video for The Pot and the Kettle. That's why the video looks very British. :)

Ah, you are still rolling it up from the back! Knox's first diss is his 'Stan' remix. Then he dropped this. You HAVE to check the Stan remix. It is absolutely fire. Oh, and Knox has just released a new track today, called Family curse. It is autobiographical and wild. You might also enjoy Killshot which started all of this. Knox references the Boogeyman in that, and Dotta uses that for himself.

But Dotta got so much backlash from it because it wasn’t a race thing at all that he actually took the video down. Knox saw that and used it to his advantage when he dropped “Stan” where he references it. That was before any diss track response from Knox btw and I think it was the last straw for him

i had commented on eshplume's reaction to dumb king come about knox sending ren books on necromancy (bc knox had killed dotta) (still makes me lol) and dotta jumped in there and started arguing with me, saying he beat knox, with implications that i didn't understand how diss battles worked. this was about a month ago. knox living in his head BIG still. 😂😂 i tried to be nice overall but it still cracks me up and makes me sad for him. wtf man. great reaction, new sub, tc 🙌

So im not going thru all the comments to see if someone ever did fill you in with how this went down. This is to MY best knowledge-i may miss a detail or two BUT... michellshow is a hater..thats his thing, as is youtube battle raps. Hes always hyped up king dotta as a top battle rapper (on youtube) so theres speculation that hes been paid by dotta. Michelleshow also started to react to hi ren but didnt even listen to a few minutes before ending it talking mad shit the whole time...he also has several videos of knox more or less doing the same. Dotta decided to go after knox with his first one and then, after being ignored by knox, went to tryibg to get knox canceled and talking shit in comments. Ren seen this in comments and challenged king dotta to battle. They agreed to do them in one take. Thats when knox decided to respond and put out stan then put out this one after rens went out.... michelleshow has since went from hating ren and knox to giving mad praise and he also put out a diss of his own that mentions ren (very lightly) but wasnt put out because of him. I think thats all but i may have missed some cuz keep in mind..ALL these guys are in each others comments either talking shit or kissing ass... its hard to remember who did which when cuz theyve all done it. Hope this helps.
