Therefore there are only two solution I can see, one being pro Armenia and the other Pro Azerbaijan: 1. NK and a small corridor get assimilated into Armenia and refugees from both countries can return to their homes and are guaranteed safety from both sides. 2. NK gets assimilated into Azerbaijan, including all Armenians living in it, and refugees from both countries can return to their homes and are guaranteed safety from both sides. Right now Armenia is willing to go with the later, but Baku is 'reluctant' when it comes to safety guarantees for the Armenians. So there's that....

From my understanding; Armenia invaded in 1988, kicked out all the Azeri's from their internationally recognized territory, Azerbaijan took what is recognized to be theirs in 2020 and is just rebuilding/letting people return to their homes.
