I usually put effort into how I look for the first 3 weeks of school then I just give into the depression and anxiety, give up on how I look (and stop caring) and try to pass my classes ☺️

for people stressing out too much about school just like me: - a bad grade in your report card isn't gonna ruin your future - skipping class once is not the end of the world - there are always people there for you if you reach out for help - you don't have to look perfect, no one is - people literally DO NOT care if you're sitting alone at lunch - bullying DOES come to an end - doing your homework is important but don't rush yourself, if you don't understand don't waste your whole evening on it - don't be afraid to ask questions if you don't understand!!! i love you

im bob gross I got a C in one of my exams- yet I still got into 5 universities to study law that are all rated in the top 10 in the whole of the UK. Grades aren’t everything- you can prove yourself with extra-curriculars and your personal statement! Both of which are amazing ways to look better.

If your shy a good tip I learned is to sit as close to the teacher as possible. U would think sitting in the back is better BUT it’s really the worst because when the teacher calls on you you have to speak loudly for them to hear you and risk the chance of embarrassment when the teacher doesn’t hear you and you have to repeat yourself until they do. Also, everyone in the class will turn to look at you and you will see all eyes on you. If you sit closer to the teacher, you can speak normally without worrying if they will hear you and you don’t have to see everyone behind you staring at you. You can act like they aren’t there!! This is just my experience and what has helped me not be so nervous. It also helps me pay more attention!!

Danixo82 YES YES YES i remember on the very first day of my very first class i had nowhere to sit but the front, and i did really well in that class (92% maybe??). however, in another class i sat near the back and got a 78%. i really think sitting in the front helps if you have problems focusing like me as well :)

You should make a video called makeup swap. Where you can’t us a product for what it is made for. Like foundation can be used for anything else other then Foundation. Same with eyeshadow. And lipstick. Etc.I think this would be fun to watch. So please do it. Love you the most James

James, I have two children, one who just graduated, one who is in 7th grade.. all of your advice is very relevant and I truly appreciate you addressing the stresses that kids go thru on damn near a daily basis. I don't know if you'll see this comment, if you do, please know you have my heartfelt thanks for putting this video up and reminding us all, young and not so young, that it's HARD to be a young person, trying to fit in, trying to get the grades, trying to feel good about yourself, trying to find your own identity.. it's a very difficult time. You're right, find that core group that you know will have your back, and if you don't find it at school, don't be afraid to go out into the community, help at a local animal shelter, join a youth group at church, help out at a homeless shelter or local food bank if you can. It's people like you that give me hope for the future, so please, PLEASE keep doing these kinds of videos. You are awesome, amazing and inspiring and I love you so much!

I’ve always tried to be popular and cool and have tons of friends, but when it happened, the kids that were supposed to be my friends started talking about me behind my back. I became a popular/gossip girl, but the same thing happened to me. I am still popular but it's better to be yourself. I can't always be myself because people have expectations since I'm the popular one and I'm in the gossip girl(and one guy) group. But I do like position cause in between popular and smart, cool nerd. But you have more fun when you are yourself. It doesn't matter your position or what you are in school, just have fun and be good with your grades! I needed this advice like 2 years ago!
