Hi Carly, backcombing only damages the hair when it's not done correctly. Always use a brush, not a comb. When you brush it out open it with your fingers first, then using a bristle brush start brushing gently from the ends going up, never from the roots down and never with a hard brush.

Hello Mishal, the secret to good backcombing is to make sure you compact each section right at the root. Often the backcombing is very weak in the root area and cannot support the pins.

Hi there, 3in is a bit short to get both fullness and support. Normally if I want to achieve body and height I would need at least 6in.
