Thank you for this comparison. I never tried open-G, but love the sound of DADGAD. If I only had more time to practice.

I shall try that Sitar-tuning again, Master Matt. I reckon it had some interesting sounds, but haven't tried it in 3 years. Working on Drop-D at the moment 🙂

As almost everybody I was born in standard tuning, then tried Dropped-D, Dadgad, and even Daddad (I was young & wild), but Dropped-D is my happy place. Dadgad sounds great but you need to be really good moving your capo (even with the Quick Draw). Never tried Open-G, and it´s sunday, lockdown, and rainy, so thank you Matt!
