And being at the top of his game. And helping countless backgammon lovers improve theirs. And being young, fit and gorgeous. I’m sure it’s not easy, but someone’s gotta do it.

Thanks for this one. The concept of timing has always been a bit confusing for me. Have you been filming these at your home, by the way? You've got a really nice place if so! Dig that pool, man. :)

Thank you! We love these videos, very clear way to unpack these otherwise mysterious concepts. (like how can it be ONLY 60/40 odds with more that a 30 pip lead? very clearly explained thank you!!)

That was very helpful...thankyou! What's going on in your pool in the background? The water is doing something that reminds me of a swarm of bees.

Question - @ 1:10 you say that Green is forced to break the anchor if they roll a 3-6, 4-6, or 5-6. But can't green just move the single 6 point checker 3,4, or 5 spaces and then leave themselves no legal moves for the 6 dice roll? That would prevent having to break up the anchor at a small loss of time.
@crawleymunchkin4 ай бұрын
In Backgammon, if using both dice is possible, then you must use both dice. As it is possible to move 3 and then 6, then you have to do that even when it is painful to do so. You are not allowed to make a move that prevents the other dice from being used if there is a way that they can both be used.
