That is so scary using a rotary to do that! You have such a fine touch that you make it look easy. I wind up digging giant holes and eating up the edges. Thanks for sharing.

What kind of burr are you using Steve? Great video thanks for sharing!

What kind of tool are you using for the removal? Interesting.

Its usually a rotary tool that's similar to a dentist handpiece to remove decay. My guess is the grs 850 ultra or presto handpiece. If neither one is it my second guess would be a NSK tool.

Steve's thread from the EngravingForum.com link (at the top) shows "The one I use now is a NSK Presto. "

Hi Steve. What form do you use bur?
@classicuniquegifts97044 жыл бұрын
I believe it's a 1/16 friction bur with 4 sides. I dont know exactly and I could be wrong but there is a video on airgraver.com demonstrating the sharpening of the bur and the gentlemen who makes a template for the bur. I would go check it because if this is the bur that was demonstrated in that video it has lots of advantages being such a fine point. Hope this helps!👍

@@PravMir79 go to airgraver.com and click on graver sharpening. I believe Its under the colored bands used for gravers. Its a little template that takes 1/16 carbide rods. www.airgraver.com/sharpening.htm
