This time we are going to bring you a famous waterfall in sri Lanka. 126 Meters tall Laxapana said to be the 8th highest waterfall in sri Lanka.
Although it has been one of the famous destination among local and Foreign Travelers, Upper part of the waterfall became famous recently. So This video Is a guide for you to reach the Upper Laxapana.
Waterfall is located in Kiriwaneliya village in Nuwara eliya District and 16kms away from the Maskeliya.
When Talking about the accessibility
Either you can Reach via Ginigathena- Kalugala Juction-Laxapana powerhouse Road-Laxpqana (Road Condition of this road is not good)
Or Norton Bridge-Kiriwaneliya-Laxapana
To reach Upper laxapana, Your Landmark should be this board. It is located 500 Meters Away ( Towards the Norton Bridge) from the Laxapana Lower Part entrance.
Then Just follow the Footpath right Infront of this gate. It’s a beautiful location. Don’t camp on the top since it’s nit secure there. Leave only Foot prints.
