Күн бұрынWhen I set off Hiking and camping 115km along The Arran Coastal Way the last thing I expected was to be struggling because it was TOO HOT!!
Better that than horizontal rain and wind though…right!!?
Long distance hikes are a wonderful journey into the unknown. And this hike really threw me a few surprises!
Arran really is the gift that keeps on giving, and I was really falling in love with it.
This is part 2 and covers from Day 2 at Lagan Cottage to Day 4 packing up at Imachar.

Aw Annie. I had a good chuckle. I totally got the "wall" fixation. They are amazing aren't they? And then the awkwardness with the other hiker,totally got that as well. I was cringing for you .😂 A belated happy birthday to you Annie and well done.👏👏

You should have many more views. Your vids are nicely made, no click bait title or unnecessary drama. Nice mix of useful information with lots of gentle humour. Belated happy birthday, what a location and a great trail to celebrate on! I'm very tempted to attempt this trail, maybe next May before the bracken takes over. D&G girly here- We should totally meet up for a wee hike somewhere! I’ve only done SUW, loch trool and cairnsmore of fleet so far but would love to try screel or criffle if you are up for a group hike?

Get up them first chance you get! You can be up and down Screel in less than an hour and a half 😁 I used to do it first thing every Wednesday. Fab wee hill. I’d recommend the southern Rhinns of Kells for a decent day out though! 🙈 you should ask my friends about my ability to arrange group hikes haha…not my strong point!!

@@annieoutdoors I understand, I tend to solo hike as I’m a bit rubbish at stuff with other humans too and tend to do things at random 🤣
