How much did you guys spend on train rides on average? Backpacking Europe in June but I can’t decide if trains or planes is the way to go. Thanks!
@paulrabic
@paulrabic 6 жыл бұрын
I can't remember the total but when comparing the two it was cheaper to take trains from country to country and then we flew from Berlin to Paris for $50 because we booked those tickets months in advance and then we flew home to D.C. I also recommend taking the trains because it is so much easier than going through security at every airport.
@aarongarcia7293
@aarongarcia7293 6 жыл бұрын
If you're planning ahead and are on a time constraint I would recommend Plane. Budget airlines are cheap and flights are short. Rail in Europe can be very expensive. For example, Munich to Pairs will be around $50 and its a 1 1/2hr flight. By train, it will cost you $150 and it's a 6-hour ride.

Hey Benjie, that sounds like you have an amazing trip ahead of you. I didn't get a Eurorail pass or interrail pass, I just bought my trains tickets individually. After reading many mixed reviews I was happy I bought my tickets separately and traveling from country to country went very smoothly. I recommend booking hostels through hostel world and book based on the best reviews. My cousin goes over a lot of great trips in his video too which I linked below. Let me know if you have any questions and I hope you have a great trip! Safe travels. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/bdVpaJCpnpOdkps.html

Yo man, great video, I have a few questions for you. Me and my two friends just booked a 3 week trip to Europe. We land in Italy and leave out of Germany, I’m just wondering if you can give me a few tips. Thank you 🤟🏽

Thanks man! Biggest recommendation is make the most of everyday. Make a plan/list of what you want to do in each location the night before and then wake up early in start crossing everything off so you don't waste anytime. Download naps for offline use on google maps when in wifi so you will always know where to go and stay in hostels. They're cheap and you meet so many amazing people from around the world. Safe travels and enjoy yourself!

Probably considered slightly melodramatic saying, “we’ve made it” every time you get to a city. I mean, you took a train from one city to another. It’s highly likely that you’ll make it! I’d possibly reserve that saying for when you and your team have just come through a fire fight with the Taliban that lasted for 3 hours and you do a head count at the end. Anyway, keep travelling gents.
