maybe the creature let him escape to know from where he comes. it's like a battle, always leave 1 opponent wounded and stealthy follow him .... by the way i was screaming "recover the ropes or ,at least, retrieve them" as soon as Hudson calmy walk near the edge. i was expecting a surprise attack while he was stabilizing his wounded comrade. NEVER give your shoulder to a possible threat (the edge).

25:18 I like to think that the screaming and name calling wasn't even the people. Like, that they were instantly killed but the monster immediatly copied their voices to give the MC the fake belief that he could still save them which would cause him to stick around longer

@GrimGatsby
@GrimGatsby Ай бұрын
That's an awesome and creepy concept but if that were the case why not just immediately peruse the last survivor? If copying voices is a luring behavior then why do it once the entity is no longer luring but now actively attacking? The creature seems to have enough implied intelligence to be able to decipher when someone sees through its disguise as it attacked as soon as all three members of the team were sure something was wrong.
@aywassupbrub4013
@aywassupbrub4013 Ай бұрын
@@GrimGatsby I don't exactly know what to say to that except that the monster is sadistic. I mean if you already understand the basic concept of speech and conversation, why not just hide and wait to surprise attack the people by yelling from afar to distract them or something. Not to mention when the monster killed the last soldier, they first pierced them what sounds like twice then they throw them in the wall hard enough to cause a blood splatter on the wall. Are you really telling me that the soldier wouldn't have gotten umconcious from that? You could say the armor or whatever helped but the blood splatter certainly wouldn't help for that case. On that matter why wouldn't the monster have instantly have gone for the kill when they pounced on the first soldier? They certainly had the cababilities to with their spear like arms/exo-skeleton. (Pretty much i'm saying that the monster didn't kill or chase immedietly because of it's sadistic nature even though it very well had the capabilities of doing so)

@moskovthefirst2227 I don't think she moved at all on her own after hitting the wall in a splat of blood. And the creature can control dead bodies from what we saw already. You know, I appreciate how the government and corporation in this video aren't just being being pointlessly evil and vague for its own sake. While they're keeping things from the soldiers, from all indications, it's clear that they are telling them everything they believe to be relevant to the situation. They legitimately believed that the science team needed rescuing and clearly had no idea that an entity capable of mimicking the science team like that existed, let alone was down there. And the guy's "I'm sorry for your loss" actually sounded legit instead of just being said as an empty platitude, so it's clear that getting the soldiers killed was not even remotely intentional.

The story has me SO hooked. I love how it's played out. The fact that a rescue team is not fully informed about the mission details. Why the assistant supervisor wasnt in the hazmat gear. Why guns were provided in the first place. Why flashlights were even authorized. Why the rapple equipment were handed out. The plan was to see if the Stalker could even die in face of combat. These 4 individuals were nothing but test subjects. Just mind blowing
@Maxidonis208
@Maxidonis208 Ай бұрын
While I'm not inclined to believe it myself. This is one of the only conspiracy theories I've seen here that actually makes sense, which I'm happy to see. Although most of these questions can have innocent answers. Suits: I think the hazmat gear was for the new floor the researchers fell into, so the assistant supervisor who wasn't going down there wouldn't need it. Although a couple more questions here is why the researchers had hazmat suits, and how did they come to the conclusion that there was higher pressure down there? Did the monster tell them? Did they do some experimentation already? Is this floor even new to them? Guns: The backrooms are known to house dangerous creatures, and they were about to go into an unknown area. So even if presumed safe, guns seem like a good precaution. Flashlights: With the flashlights, I can see questions as to how they knew those were needed. If they didn't have other reasons to believe it, I could see the monster telling them while posing as the researchers on the radio. After all, if things immediately don't match what it says, it's victims will know something's off. Rappels: I don't get why the provision of rappels is being questioned. They knew the researchers fell and weren't climbing back out on their own, and they needed a way to get in and out safely. The biggest question I have is why military forces were used here when, so far as we know, they aren't generally used for backrooms exploration. And you have provided a reason for it. If you want to know if something can be killed, it's probably a good idea to have professionals on the job.
@Nagi_O
@Nagi_O Ай бұрын
@@Maxidonis208solid comment! I think military forces are needed since they are more prone to combat and also experienced with using rappels, they could ask professionals to do so but the company probably thought that a monster could potentially roam that level seeing the monster was roaming the first level that's why they issued out carbines for self defense. Edit: i think its more like a theory on why they needed the new hazmat suits it provided more protection and are probably being tested if personnel on site could use the new hazmat suit so exploring will be much easier. We saw how much more difficult and resilient the new suit is compared to the older ones seeing it could stand the attack from the monster.
@Maxidonis208
@Maxidonis208 Ай бұрын
@@Nagi_O I get why military forces would be used. But as far as I know they generally aren't, and I don't think these kinds of conditions are exactly new at the backrooms. So the question is more about why an exception is being made this time?
@Nagi_O
@Nagi_O Ай бұрын
@@Maxidonis208 they could've PMC units and not actual official soldiers of the country but ignoring that. I think the reason they authorized use of military forces was clearly meant to take out hostiles and rescue friendlies in the backrooms. Usually black operations or whatever they're called is classified no matter how much you search in the internet you may not find them. but they may have been declassified things before, but things like this is definitely classified because they dont want to cause panic.
@Maxidonis208
@Maxidonis208 Ай бұрын
@@Nagi_O Are you saying the fact that this is a rescue operation is the key difference? And/or suggesting that perhaps the use of military, official or not, might be more common, but that we don't know about it because those operations are all classified?

Please repent and believe the Gospel. The time very short. Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; John 3:16-21 (16)For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (17)For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. (18)He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. (19)And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. (20)For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. (21)But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God. Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Revelation 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

There is a very subtle detail that I'm not sure if anyone noticed, but I find it to be a real nice touch to the show. At the part where the soldiers were gearing up, Miller asked Jackson what the rail was for, in which Jackson replied that he was taught the it was to "mount the camera to the helmet so it can free up my hands" in a confused manner. Keep in mind that this was supposed to be in 1990. There is not such thing as go-pro. The idea of mounting a video recording camera onto a person instead of being handheld was not even a concept yet.

Gotta be dead honest: Every Backrooms thing I've seen that hasn't been produced by Kane Pixels has been very hard for me to take seriously. I wasn't expecting too much from this at first, but my initial impression swiftly turned around and I quickly found myself feeling very impressed, because right off the bat I could tell so much effort had been put into the 3d modelling. The dialogue in this all feels very natural too, which normally I never hear done very well in things, even professionally! The rest of this video simply had me hooked! It's all very believable and immersive, and (spoilers) seeing two of the main characters just die really suddenly and scream out their last breath was just heart-wrenching, because I had gotten attached to them without realizing it. You know, a lot of Backrooms/analogue horror stuff always tries to depict itself as being as close to real-life as possible - often failing hilariously which makes it really hard to take seriously as works of horror sometimes - but I am really glad you instead just committed to the 3d-model look for this production, because it not only looks way better than almost every other Backrooms thing I've seen, but it really confidently stands out from the rest too; It's a breath of fresh air! Five stars. ★★★★★ Thumbs up. Six golden monkey statues.

Honestly I was never really a fan of the idea of “entities in the backrooms”. The idea of an endless office empty hallways, the droning hum of office lights is terrifying enough, it felt like the scary thing wasn’t being trapped with something but being trapped with nothing but yourself and your mind as you eventually hallucinate and go crazy. A “backrooms entity” done right to me is something that’s not a generic murder monster but a predator that tricks you either through camouflage, hallucinations and overall just fucking with your head. Otherwise the interesting horror of the backrooms is dumbed down to a maze with a spooky demon thing chasing you. Genuinely one of the best backrooms content I’ve seen, gold star from me, can’t wait to see where your animation career goes next, especially with your FNAF series.

Tried my best to count the amount of mags used by the soldiers on the creature: Jackson used 3 mags (last one may or may not have been emptied out), Sharon used 2 mags (last one also may or may not have been emptied out), and Miller has used 1 mag (not fully emptied out). A colt 726 rifle can hold 30 bullets per mag. if we assume at least 25 bullets from each mag were emptied out by everyone, whilst we count the 2 full mags used by Jackson (so 60 bullets + 25 bullets from the last mag = 85 total bullets), the full mag used by Sharon (30 + 25 = 55), and the 25 bullets used by Miller, this creature took 165 bullets (assuming all of them hit the stalker) and was BARELY weakened.

This creature was bullet resistant, though it can still be damaged by conventional bullets since it showed in the last part where they bring up the camera guy, they shot the creature and it got damaged enough to fall off back into the hole, it is also worth mentioning the Colt firearms used in this operation either used .223 REMINGTON or the 5.56 NATO which are generally average bullets and are often used in "small game hunting" and also unarmored/low armored targets, I am highly confident it can get taken down by much more "heavier" munitions like explosives, .308 BLK rounds, shotgun slugs and many more heavier munitions

i think if you wanted to kill a bone and mold monster you would want to use fire, or some kinda of shotgun. rifle calibre is good at stopping flesh and blood people. but like in dead space, their military grade weapons are great at stopping normal humans, but not mutated abominations with spear arms. mabye the mold can quickly reform its around the monster's skeleton to negate the effects of the bullets? but hit a bone directly, and shatter it, it takes longer than normal to bound back and attack again. or mabye its not a bone and mold monster, and its normal flesh and blood. i dunno :)))))))

The “friend” they were referring to I think was the entity from Kane Pixels’ video “Pitfalls” since they said that it was sealed off, and that’s what happened to the path way to the pitfalls were the entity was found in Kane Pixels’ cannon. Also the entity in this videos name is the stalker hence the title

I must know how long this took to create, because that was perfect, pure horror, not jumpscares, the climax lasted a long time. It is good that they were smart enough to notice the movement and at least one ran when bullets did nothing. And it is amazing that we have people good enough to make these.

That *THING* is terrifying. From reveal to ending, a true horror of the deep and dark. For one, the reveal was masterfully executed. The fact that the girl was so uncannily posed and then they realize the mouth wasn’t moving. The moment the creature figures out the ruse is up, it goes all out. The drop of the corpse and the reveal of even just it’s silhouette, that would practically kill me already. The way it’s animated while attacking; no holding back, no toying with its prey, no shenanigans. It knows the ruse is up, it’s time to attack, *it’s time to feast.* It’s howls are what gets me. It screams like it’s in pain yet with the context you know it’s screaming in rage, attack, and excitement for the next meal. It’s a beast, and it will NOT stop.

What's even more terrifying is that rifle rounds do absolutely nothing didn't even make it move at all
@foldervtolvr
@foldervtolvr 4 ай бұрын
@@Rioyyfb based on how it looks, I’d say a good majority of the rounds either missed or only grazed it, it’s a very thin target with a lot of space for bullets to pass by, and with a strong enough skeleton, any ricochets would barely effect it. I think the reason it fell away at the end is because it was so point blank the shots actually hit the creature in a way that could damage it, and it had a sort of “Oh shit” moment and dropped away, not without gnawing through half of the guy’s leg But yeah, the way it barely reacts to multiple mags being dumped into it is terrifying, I’m just ranting and theorizing

people of bad faith complains about that Backrooms shouldn't be about monsters but as long they appears at the worst but right moment, after so many of tension and suspense, as long their appearance are well managed, they just can add to the backrooms terror. perhaps dying of thirst and starving in maze-like uncanny environments is scary , but being trapped by predatory creatures who use human bodies and fake voices to trap you after a false sense of safety is just as terrifying. espcially if their bodies are made in a way bullets hardly hits them

Nah, humans can definitely kill that thing. I assume you're underestimating the military technology of humankind that was carbine it has balanced recoil and damage what if one of the crew members were issued something stronger killing that thing would be easier and plus even with the carbines shooting the head definitely does damage. Plus if they decide to take the larger guns i think killing that monster would be extremely easier modern rpg can destroy tanks this thing presumably made out of flesh with some kind of scales or something wouldn't stand a chance against the modern rpg it destroys tanks something even this thing cant destroy on its own.
