Backyard Coaster POV | LITTLE THUNDER

Күн бұрынThe first POV look at the Little Thunder Mountain backyard roller coaster. Once on board the mine Kart, you'll race around the mountain catching unique glimpses of the town, Baxter's Whistlestop, waterfalls and blue caverns. Its not all just beautiful views, however, as you eventually find yourself face to face with the danger lurking inside one of the abandoned gold mines!

It’s actually interactive too, which you don’t get from the ride. Bottom line, depending on what you do in the launch scene will change when the launch happens.

Ok coaster enthusiasts here inverts do not mean good. You can make a good ride with no inverts, inverts are just for thrill. But there are plenty thrills with out inverts, take for example ghost rider at knots, it is easily one of the best wooden coasters ever made. While look at son of beast, it had a loop but it had rough transitions and terrible track shake

Yesss I love animatronics I bought one for halloween and it scared guests away roller coasters that have animatronics are really cool it just adds to the special effects.

Building a themed backyard coaster with handmade elements that it goes over, around, through, and under is extremely impressive, but then adding an animatronic and a launch element to it is absolutely amazing for a home built coaster!

I watched it again and just noticed you even built the entire town facades quite detailed ... wow! I wish I was close enough to help you work on some of the art stuff for this... I used to do theatrical backdrops and props for plays, this looks like it would be a blast to work on. Changing my subscription to ALL bell notifications this is just so neat to watch.

Oklahoma Land Run (RIP) will always be my favorite backyard coaster, but as an attractions designer I am blown away at the extras on this. The blast/launch is a fantastic idea. Outstanding work.

I think doing a full dark ride next, maybe with a power source, or a dark coaster. Complete the coaster trilogy with a cosmic hill!

Thanks for letting us see and experience one of the best back yard coasters. As others have said it is professional quality with all the scenery you built and the track layout is great. Having that launch at the end was a real surprise and added an element that brought the ride to an exciting finish. Good luck with it and from what I saw it looks like you are planning some additional buildings or scenery to complement the ride.

WOW! 😱 This is amazing. First the theming. Even water fountains? Awesome. But then the ride begins and you realize that this is a fantastic layout in it’s own right. The track plan is perfect. But wait….there’s a dark tunnel? And audio? And an audioanimatronic? A show scene? Fog? A LAUNCH????!!! I was so not expecting this! Truly outstanding! Rivals some theme park rides even. Fantastic job.

That ride did have a dark tunnel, and it was somewhat similar to Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at Walt Disney World and Disneyland in California.
