The writing needs to improve greatly, ever since Omega join them, they have become really, really stupid. Why did they go back to Cid, the one person who they know can't be counted on, who also threatened to turn them in, yet they go back to her? No, having Omega around has somehow diminished their overall tactical sense and has just made them Dumb as rocks!

@@joshkirby2372 They are veteran soldiers, literally BRED to be, and they were long before Omega knew them. And if protecting her was such a priority, they wouldn't, again, go back to the one person they KNOW THEY CAN'T TRUST! Just admit it, Dave Filoni ruined these characters by bringing a child into this group, especially since this show isn't watched majorily by children but by young and mature adults.

That would make more sense! To me I think omega was incredibly special (as she was shown as the only [successful] clone with 2 X chromosomes) just saying “oh actually there’s another girl clone” is just lazy writing tbh

It's far more likely Omega and her sister have nothing to do with Jango Fett. If he has a sister, what's the point? Jango was chosen as the template for the clone army because of his skills as a soldier. The template for scientist clones should be someone who's also a scientist.

Personally I think the effect of the sacrifice is the immediate reaction it causes, so it's effect is still valid. What they do afterwards can be _just_ as effective if done right, ie: how the character changes after the event, how it effects others, etc. With Spock, the movie was literally saying "He's not dead" before you bought the ticket and the status quo returned to the usual afterward, so, not the best example of "doing it right."

While it's likely that Tech is actually dead, given the Advances Science Division is involved, there is a chance (never tell me the odds) that Tech may be clinging on to life on one of Hemlock's experimentation tables. And as he found Tech's goggles, it's not unreasonable to assume he found Tech too). Wishful thinking? Perhaps. But I always was a 'glass half full' kinda guy, so I'll be waiting for Season 3 with baited breath...

I agree. This is Star Wars. Even if you see the body it doesn't mean they are dead. Also when Hemlock reveals the goggles he says "This is all I could salvage." indicating he may not have found a body in the wreckage.

That's a good theory. It's also possible they did it so they would have a basis for the look which isn't uncommon in animation.

One of my favorite WWII movies and books. I recently showed it to my twin 11-year-old sons and they loved. So when one brought it up as we watched I was very proud. I thought of it the moment I saw the cable cars.

The whole 15th episode was basically a riff on where eagles dare. the plot was to infiltrate a meeting of high level nazis to suss out an important piece of intelligence - which is more or less what the bad batch is doing here.

I think most of Delta Squad is dead sadly. Sev might still be alive but I think Scorch either is the only one that listened to order 66 or he’s the only one alive by this time. But if Delta Squad is still alive, it’d be cool to see Delta Squad vs Bad Batch

No one's ever really gone

Tech is not dead. You can know it by the fact we never saw the body. If in a movie or tv-series main character dies without showing the exact moment they die or the body later they are not dead. Even Hemlock himself reveals that the goggles was the only thing they found so they did no even found the body or he was lying about it but what would been the point. Him falling and disappearing to the clouds no way confirm him being dead. You can compare this to the death scene of Kanan Jarrus there was no way he did not die in the scene he died, but Tech's "death" scene does have way too many things open for him to come back as his death does not fill the parameters of a death of a pivotal character in tv-series. You always show you don't tell in that media. Its a great scene but Tech is not dead.

and he literally kept all his limbs except for one forearm, tech is falling on snow with better armor, and its tech, so he probably disconnected the grappling hook and aimed for a tree or something

If he's dead, his body should be there, it's now a corpse, so it can't just get up and walk away, he's definitely alive. Though, I kinda wanted to see Crosshair as a Cyber-Enhanced, phase 1 Darktrooper but a Sniper/Marksman variant, as he would be but I guess that would be too predictable, Turning Tech into one seems less so I guess.

I completely agree, I felt like they would've leaned in way more into Phee and Techs relationship if he was gonna truly die and there was no reason for Hemlock to tell the truth to Hunter. In fact telling him Techs dead is what I feel like made his will to fight fade. Until Omega is taken that is
