Put a small plastic cup from Dollar Tree under the oil filter ,and you won't spill a drop of oil.

Wow that is stupid clean. I have a 2021 maveric 60" w/ the kawasaki. Mine looks like a mud truck. I keep it indoors 100% of the time except when mowing. I have 5 acers, cut about 2.5, but I live in a flood area. There's some areas where I can't mow until July because the water just sits there. Last year wasn't bad, but a couple areas the mower got squirrely because there was standing water (less than an inch). The tires rip up the grass and begins slinging mud.

The oil plug was really hard to get loose on my Maverick the first time. Maybe it was just mine but I'm pretty strong and it being on a hose made it harder than it had to be. 😂

Form a funnel. They are like $12 and you will find yourself using it all the time.

Mine just hit 8 hours which is considered the "break-in period" by Bad Boy and they recommend an oil change in the user manual. Should I change the oil filter too or am I fine to wait to do that until my yearly maintenance in the fall?

My husqvarna mz54 Kawasaki fr730v manual says 8 quarts ,20/50 oil ,I know that can’t be correct.Thanks

Meticulous as you keep your mower, careful with your tools, clean environment etc; hard to believe you lubricated the new filter with the gritty drain oil. You want to keep a nice clean gasket for a smooth contact and seal.

@@MojobuckProductions I'll be doing mine this week or so just bought a kit off ebay $98 out the door. This one come with a pump, it'll make filling it a lot easier and cleaner. I left the info for you. This is not labeled bad boy, it actually calls out our hydrostat drives OEM HYDRO GEAR TRANSAXLE TRANSMISSION OIL SERVICE KIT 72750 ZT-2800 THRU ZT-3400
