I've cut many 5 windows over the last 55 years and I've never done a chop so clean or with so few cuts, great job Chad! Just when I thought I had nothing to learn you taught me something! thank you.

Because I had one in my younger years, I recently brought home a derilect 77 Trans Am needing a lot of work. Although I took welding classes at the local community college years ago, mainly arc and stick, I had not touched a welder in 45 years. I'm old now. But by watching Bad Chad I was inspired to buy a small mig welder. And although I didnt do a perfect job, I did a "good" job of zip cutting and replacing four patch floor panels. Onward and upward at the age of 75. Hopefully, not too far upward.😊

People don't understand how practical chad is with minimal tools and short amount of time no other channel give an hour in real time progress chad !!!! U are badass chad!!!

Since I've been watching Bad Chad . The things that are most enjoyable for me about Chad is that .he provides his viewers. With a good explanation and demonstration on how to plan and complete the job at hand.

Gotta admit, that's one fine chop on a five window coupe. Never in a million years would I see an 11 hour job look so very nice! As you perhaps already know I've sold Rolls-Royces & Bentleys for 58 years, all I ever did physically was polish and detail every nook & cranny before I sold one. You take a car completely to a new level of art. I enjoy your work, I'm 85 years young, and enjoy my hour watching you take things apart and weld them back in a new frame of mind! Lastly, this car should be painted before Jolene runs it down the track , even with a damn brush!!!! Oh yeah,,,,,

I am 75 and was building cars and restoring old cars. I taught myself how to do things that turned out pretty damn good and learned somethings the hard way . I am proud of what I accomplished all by myself. I think Chad and Jolene are still learning many things and both of you are getting better by the day. I have learned that many of the people that belittle you are jealous of what you guys are becoming. Just keep being who you are I like you that way.

Hello Chad, I am French from FRANCE on the other side of the Atlantic Ocean and I like hot rods, I can tell you that it is very good work, often the top chops are made with a lot of cuts and lots of welding, with several car roofs or sometimes abandoned and broken down. Your work is excellent and very successful with very little cutting and little welding so the haters who criticize show your work. It's not work, it's art.

No negativity - how you talked to your son is going to burn in him for a long time and I wouldn't blame him. He tried and you belittled him. I know my dad did the same thing and ruined our relationship for 25 years. Time you won't ever get back and missed out on even when amends are made. Be smart you can always reshape metal but once a mind and spirt are broken it could be permanent.

Hello from Wyo,I was taught to use a propane torch ,get it hot then wire brush it and it knocks the lead right off and leaves the metal untouched. Nice chop very few cuts. Im amazed. 90% of the haters got nothing better to do and have never chopped a car so i wouldnt even pay any attention. They need a life where hate is the last thing in mind.I bet they never gave a live demonstration chop at a car show either. SMFH!Thanks for all you do!

I recently found your channel through Facebook reels. It started with this chop. I was very intrigued by how you approached the chop, so then I followed you to this KZfaq channel. I am so glad I did! I’m not a fabricator/body man, but I enjoy the vintage cars, and love seeing them being restored to their grand beauty. If I had just clicked on this video, and saw the results only, I would have thought you had taken parts from another car, to complete this chop…but you didn’t. You fabricated those A pillars, and I just now watched you do the inside of the pillar to accept the door….it really came together! Now what I can say that I am, is an artist. And I totally agree with you, that these cars like this are works of art. It takes skill. It takes concentration. Which brings me to this point….those who can’t, hate. I find it sad that people want to hate on what others do, solely because they really can’t do what you do. So take pride in knowing you have the skills. And those of you who just can’t say anything nice, at least appreciate the technique and the skill it takes to do this. As an artist I get the same treatment at times, and it comes from those who have never picked up a brush or pencil. Just chill guys. And enjoy this man’s talent! This a wonderful project. Enlarging the windshield was a great idea and makes the car look less radical and more practical for driving. Like others I watch every day and am inspired to do things that I would not have attempted prior to having Chad, Jolene, Nathan and Doug (and Fina) showing that things can be done without highly expensive tools and equipment. Chad always seems to be able to overcome obstacles that I think can't be resolved. No need to be defensive to those who criticize as they express opinions without substance.

I've got 40+ years in auto body work. It all restore to original. A few custom paint jobs. I appreciate this basic chop video without having to watch a complete build. This is a great tutorial, thanks. I've always wanted to see one. Not how I thought it would be. Much simpler the way you do it.

I have done a chop on a 15 window coupe and got it all done in approximately 6 and a half hours !!! Go faster Chad !!

It would be easy to say "Oh ya, Bad Chad. He's the guy that all he does is chop the roof on all his cars". The only problem with that is that it isn't true. Maybe Chad cut his teeth on that, but he, Jolene and the team are WAY more than that these days. Just look at all the cars they are working on, almost all at the same time. Engine work, chassis work, drivetrain work, electrical, interior, glass and upolstery, and painting. And road trips. Probably more that I'm forgetting. And all for our pleasure EVERY DAY. Seven days a week. FOR FREE. And, I have to add. Jolene's camera work is the best. Very professional. I sometimes have to remind myself that Im not actually there even though it seems like I am.

Chad always remember that you can please some of the people some of the time but you can't please all of the people all of the time. I will admit that I will say what I think but not in a malicious way, l hope. Besides which you should know that more often than not there's good criticism as much as bad criticism and sometimes the critic can just as easily learn from you as you can from them. It's one thing having the talent but you my friend have equally the desired passion and zest to carry on with what you do and how you do it. Don't forget that all through the ages any and all great inventors, artists and designers were initially laughed at and scorned before they eventually received the recognition they rightly deserved. Within the last six months, I started my own small KZfaq channel, and even though there are only 800 or so people subscribed the vast majority are positive comments, it is nice to see there are so many supporters of your channel, kind of gives a guy motivation. I have never chopped a four-door and I am trying this on a 1937 Chevy.

I agree with you 100% that was definitely the fastest and cleanest chop I've ever seen and I worked in shops from the time I was 14 and I'm 63 so 49 years I've been around this stuff it was the simplest chop I have ever seen well thought out Chad the only thing I would like to know is where are the haters videos of the chops they did or are doing most couldn't chop a roof in 40 hours and make it even close to that one it would be all out of shape from to much heat and crooked as hell I'm not easily impressed but I give you an A+ on this one buddy

I ran a lot of mig . could never stand wearing standard welding gloves they were too thick ,cause carpel tunnel. I went to using the thinner tig welding gloves. They wore out a little quicker but i had better finger mobility . helped to solve the carpel tunnel problem along with other techniques i adopted.. I liked that i could actually feel my work better . Helped a lot when i was welding two pieces that i had to feel whether they were even or not. I see ol Chad use techniques that you have to develop through experience. Lotta things you cant learn from a school .

British bloke here Chad, I love your work mate. Now, I really don't care who hates me for saying so, but I would love you to 'fix' the Jaguar E-Type! Which E-Type? EVERY hard-top! The roof is built for a giraffe and his girlfriend, and its misproportioned design has honestly made me sick to the stomach since I first saw one in the 70's! There are other issues I have with its body, but the roof is absolutely hideous. This, the Italians never got wrong. Anyway, for now I will shut up and enjoy your mad-science with my Weetabix. Defining terms is important or is that considered hate? People express opinions and speak from years of work as chassis alignment etc etc. Is that hate? Constructive criticism: is that hate? Apparently. Saying that no car gets finished for the last 2-3 years is that hate? Think Bugatti and the promises made re finishing that car for Jolene as just one example. Your words not ours.

well, Chad based on the loss of your viewership, I would say the last 10 to 15 episodes and by the way, every video you do shows how many views you had you’ve lost 45% of your viewers now I enjoy your content. I enjoy everything you do there’s only one thing I don’t enjoy when you start calling out negative people, you’re showing me that you’re just a crybaby and this part of your videos is getting pretty old with me so I’m thinking if it continues, you’re going to lose another viewer probably a lot more

I don't understand why you (called out the haters) All you done was give them what they want time and air? Don't do it, it's not a good look you are better than that and them?
