Bad Coin grade??!!! Lets do it!

Hello and welcome Subscribers
Today we will be opening a NGC slab! Personally i wouldn't normally do this but a friend of mine asked me to open it for him.
I thought i would do a video so you could see how hard it is to open one of these things!
The coin graded was a 2017 1oz SIlver Krugerrand graded to PF67.
As we submitted three coins for graded i sadly also got a PF67. I decided to keep it graded and ended up selling it on Ebay and broken even.

We had a bet between Winning Image Photography and I at what minute mark it would get open lol. To bad in the bad grade, I'd open it as well.

From the video. That coin looks really good. I think a lot of that grading coin stuff comes down to a person's personal opinion about it and not a guideline. That person could have been having a bad day at work and put crappy grades on every coin he done that day

I totally agree with you. My friend and I sent in 3 examples of these and got two 67 and one 69. All the gold came in at 70. 👍

Absolutely the right thing to do there pal PF 67 would be unsalable & worth spot. Putting back to OEM will have more than tripled its worth. If you have to break another one out it is way easier to hacksaw it open if you hold gently in a vice.

Thanks Garth. I actually sold my PF67 on ebay. Wasn't looking for heavy money for it and I sold it. Got back what I paid for it and covered grading.
