I had no idea there was more to superman than just rings.

Man, one time I once played Superman 64 emulated with a friend and we left the game at the exact same stage you guys did. And that brought back the memory of how hilarious it was to see a “superhero” flying three inches above the ground at 10 meters per hour in a closed space.

People whining about the good old times should be forced to play through superman 64. If they defend themself with: i mean even older! Okay, you got this coming, here is ET and Hercules for Atari. Don't complain, you brought this upon yourself.

Whenever I see someone play Superman 64, I get flash backs to my 10th or 11th birthday, when my parents bought me that game. It gave me mix of frustration, disappointment, and agony. Very nice list though! :D

Hey I've got a similar story to Nathaniel Bandy. Anyways, I was talking with my Mom about old video games the other day and apparently she had ET as a kid and absolutely loved it with it being one of her all-time favorites and actually recommended I play it sometime... She didn't believe me about the landfill story and refuses to believe it was ever considered a bad game. In other unrelated yet not surprising news she used to buy me really bad bootleg stuff when I was little which originally put a bad taste in my mouth as it made me think I was just really bad at playing games since I never found any of them fun and just didn't get how they could be. I'm so grateful that a few years later I was allowed to start picking my own games and bought a DS based on multiple friend recommendations despite feeling it would be a waste as I honestly thought all games just sucked. (My first real game I played being Mario Party DS which quickly made me fall in love with the series proceeding to get pretty much every game with the Mario name on it that I could find and loving every second lol.) She still thinks I just don't like video games despite me repeatedly telling her how I actually love games, just not the really bad awful controlling pieces of bootleg 8000 in 1 game garbage she would get me at garage sales. (Well I don't say it that harshly but still) She's still confused why in the world I went and bought an SNES classic recently and how I actually enjoy it since to her the games on it seem like garbage and "can't even begin to compare to the quality of the Atari." Lol Thankful I've been able to keep my little brother from having to go through the same thing.

The sad part about my child hood is that I played Sonic 06 when I was a 5 year old and it was the only Sonic game I played until I got a Genesis and realized Sonic 06 is bad.

Where is sonic and the secret rings? That game makes me rage SO hard.

Reminds me of my time with my nieces on Christmas. I gave them a some of my old controllers with PC adapters I no longer need and put emulators with all the best games for them on there computer they had a blast and when they played Mario Party 2 they kept running to me and my sister getting upset and telling on each other. It was so great I was laughing just like Drew and I was so proud of them I put my arm around my sister and said look at that sis THAT IS GAMING.

Hey I love Sonic 06 no joke. There was a patch that pretty much fixed all gameplay bugs and to fix loading time just download the disk and it will shorten it a crap tone.

ET was a rushed game, plus there were allot of other issues that caused the crash of 83. My vote is super man 64 for number 1.

I think the arrows in Bubsy 3D are there because the level looks so unfinished and weird and you would get lost in the level and you wouldn’t if the arrow was there. Yeah, such a weird game.

I remember playing Sonic 06 in a dentist office that was made for kids. They had those little console demos set up that you’d see in a McDonald’s or something. I thought it was sonic adventure 2. I didn’t get far of course, but I only now realize that it was Sonic 06 I was playing when I saw the loading screen in the video... *very iconic.*

Shaq-fu is a cult classic along side Earthbound.

Typically a tornado is formed when there is a pocket of hot air interacting with cold winds from a different direction. Nature attempts to maintain homeostasis and so the hot air chases the cold air to create the motion and therefore Superman's breath would make the hot air colder and with that the motion would decrease making the result that is in the game.

They couldn’t get the rights to most of the stuff in the Superman game so we were left with this broken game. I always wondered what the game would have been like if the developers were allowed to do everything they had planned.

20:24 Actually it wasn't Atari who buried the games, a games store actually went out of business in the area and buried all the unsold games in the desert or something and they found copies of other "good" games along side the ET games, I saw a documentary about it on Netflix that I don't think is on Netflix any longer.

Sonic 06 is actually pretty good. I like it a lot. I never experienced glitched but my view may be jaded by pure nostalgia of it. I loved it as a kid.
