What I love about her songs is that she doesn't hide her northern Irish accent! Janet your voice is so unique and beautiful x

People don’t usually hide accents to hide accents, it’s usually just that changing the vowels makes singing easier. People often have a different singing “accent” to their real accent. But yes, janets northern Irish works beautifully for her.

Singing and speaking are actually controlled by different parts of the brain (indeed there are some people who due to things such as brain injury from accident, injury, stroke or disease are no longer able to talk but are still able to sing strange as that may sound upon first thought) and you can hear it in Janet's songs as she kind of has 2 musical voices one that's definitely musical but where her northern Irish accent shines through and the 2nd that is cleaner and more pure where there isn't much of any easily definable accent. This is quite common for singers that for example move between their regular singing voice and their falsetto voice, it's just easier to spot in Janet's case because of the beautiful character that her accent adds to her songs.

Bad habits come and go like the wind , the blow in for a while , then the light of Jesus arrives and begins to chase those bad habits ways . I just want you to know how much an inspiration you are. When my anxiety gets too high, I come and listen to your voice and it is so soothing and helps to calm me down. It is great to seeing you in a better state with all of your ups and downs and wish you all the best moving forward. I absolutely love this ❤️ I fell like it's so prevalent as I became dependant on controlled pain medication to cope with my Mum's terminal brain cancer. Thank fully I was able to walk away from the 'bad habit'. It's tempting at times but Im staying strong for my Mum's sake. Thank you for sharing such a beautiful song ❤️

@B Every singer with any kind of public profile ignores over 99% of fans. It is stupid to expect her to answer every single comment. For all we know, She might know Mark personally. I don't know what is making you so bitter, but I hope you get a handle on it and stop acting out in public against people who are just sharing their talent.

Incredible voice and after seeing her at a Russel Crowe concert a very genuine person who I think is a great role model for young women who are struggling.

The thing about good and great entertainers is pretty much simple. Sure attraction and skill and looks are all pure opinion, yet the one thing that's shines through is charisma. This girl has it all. A tick in each box if you like. The look, the choice in song, the vocals, the charisma. I like!

I love the uniqueness of her voice. It gives me chills and goosebumps. I prefer this version than the original. The way she looks at the camera and smiles makes me smiles at the end. I would love to see her live on stage with her lovely long red hair.

See, I knew this song was supposed to be haunting and sad. It’s not meant to be pop and dance like Ed’s version. His got lost in translation but THIS…this gives the song meaning. Love it.

I didn't even know the original, so I thought this was what the song was supposed to be like. Was a shock when I checked out Ed's version. Janet's version is so much more appealing to me. If I didn't know I'd think Ed's was a remix. Thanks Janet for this interpretation, you nailed it.

this is exactly what makes you stand out from any other singer out there and your voice is one of a kind plus the way you spin the songs to make them your own is amazing and i like all the songs you sing better than the original ones lol you just put that little twist on it that makes it better..its crazy you are all grown up now its like we get to see you grow up from a girl to now a beautiful woman with an incredible voice. i cant wait to see what else your gonna come out with for us to listen to..you and lanie gardner should get together and work together on some songs i think the both of you would be so so good together.

I Love this cover so much Janet this sounds amazingly good and you’re covers always sound great and much better then the original versions of the song as you truly make them you’re own by change of the instrumental tone of the music along with you’re amazing vocal voice.
