In the world of Ska there was no other band quite as crazy as Bad Manners when it came to madcap performances and here's another perfect example with Buster & co doing the "Can Can" as only they could... :-)

Love it, I was a little kid when this was released. I remember it started a cancan craze at my primary school. I learnt the dance at a very young age. We all thought it was a brand new dance, not knowing its history.

I was 17 when this came and had left school but it didn't stop me and my mates at work dancing around like loonies when this one came on the radio... 😜 From your username then even though were just a kid at the time you must have been like of us of our generation brought up on the old "Carry On Films" and in particular Kenneth Williams who once said those immortal words... along with "ooh matron"... 😙

What a blast! I could never get tired of listening and watching this crazy and talented bunch. Buster is amazing with his high kicks and cartwheels, despite being so huge. He must have a tremendous athletic body, to survive this at more than 300 lbs. But I hear he's lost most of his excess weight in later years. May they keep doing this for a long time. What is the type of harp that one guy plays? I was asked what instrument does Buster play? I answered that he plays himself. Who could be so stuck up not to like this? It's so good to see a sharp HD version of this. I wonder if the Folies Bergère has made him an honorary member?

1978 to 1983 were my teen years musically the best time be alive they was no shortage of variation then i loved rock disco punk elecro new wave the lot not least ska the manners they were wild same year as the royal wedding truly an english year.
@MadFranko00810 ай бұрын
Hmmm... it must've escaped your notice but "Rock, Disco, Punk, Electro & New Wave" weren't exactly just "English" things !!! Whatever "Royal Wedding" you are talking about then sure that no doubt I would class that as an "English" thing but as for everything else then... NAH... the UK is a bigger place than just England as is the rest of the world and all those music genres you mentioned were rife across the UK and popular in much of the rest of the world for that matter... PS: Those were my teen years too and I was into almost everything you mention there (cept DIsco, and Royal Weddings, strange thing for a "teen" to be into I reckon !!!) I also recall Scotland beating England at Wembley in 1981so it MUST'VE therefore been a Scottish year going by your narrow view of life & the world... PPS: You sound like a stereotypical ignorant brain dead American tourist where everything in the UK gets referred to as "England" or "English", you're not perchance originally from America are you !!! 🤔🙄😅

Let's face it only the British could get away with such a display of loonacy and call it acceptable eccentricity.
@MadFranko008 Жыл бұрын
Nah, nothing eccentric about it... in fact it's perfectly normal everyday behaviour here, tis the rest of the world that are too uptight and serious about everything in life and have forgotten the simple fact that humour is what makes life enjoyable... 😉

These days the world is full of sad (very sad) crocodile tear shedding imbeciles and it has nothing to do with the "left", "right" or "middle of the road or any school of political thought... Tis all to do with a generation of brain dead sheep (both young & old) incapable of free thought who are slaves to the internet/ social media where complete nobodies who wanna be famous tell them what to do, say and think and to pretend to be outraged by anything an everything, which sadly those enslaved to their silly wee mobiles phones do without the slightest thought... Mind you they have to do those things without thought cos as said, they are incapable of free thought, they do serve one purpose though and it is to give me a good laugh at them and the utter pish they whinge, whine and burble... 😊
@140cabins9 ай бұрын
Nah, they'd just insist that Buster is literally a woman and have you cancelled for misgendering her.
@MadFranko0089 ай бұрын
@@140cabins There's no hope for the future of the human race with all these crocodile tear shedding brain dead loons about who think that plastic surgery, implants, cutting bits off or adding bits on and plying themselves with more hormones than Russian shot putter is going to magically turn them into a man or woman and magically change the sex they were born as... Mind you I dunno what's worse, their crackpot ideas & beliefs or the sad little words and terms they come up with to describe them like "gender neutral" I mean WTF is that supposed to mean !!! or lame shit like "Cancelled/ Cancel Culture" !!! the only thing that has been cancelled are their solitary wee collective brain cells ability to function... Yup, forget about the cobblers like "Climate Change" dooming the human race as the human race won't be around long enough to procreate when they realise that being born male and then pretending you're a woman won''t mean that you can magically give birth to more humans... Thank gawd, this is end of humans cos despite having more knowledge at their fingertips than any other time in history they are actually going backwards and getting thicker than shit by the day... welcome to the new "Dark Age", then again that's a bit of an insult to those that lived in the dark age cos at least they had the valid excuse of their being no education around for them not being the brightest while todays fuckwits don't have an excuse for being complete brain dead basket cases who don't even have a gender and feign mock outrage at every bit of bullshit they are told to do, say and think... get right on my tits they do and I'm a man without tits... 🙄
