I was into the entire debut MONTROSE album when it was released in 1973. Introduced all my friends to it. It's the greatest debut album EVER!!! R.I.P. RONNIE.

Great album, great band but not sure about "greatest debut album ever". There was a 1967 debut album called "Are you experienced" that was also pretty impressive. Can't remember the name of the band just now but you can maybe find it with Google.

Well no one seems to have gotten the sarcasm of Stephen Pain's reply, but also, IMB, Heart had a pretty good one with "Dream Boat Annie." Many bands have had great debuts. Ya'll ought to check out Resurrection Band's debut album, "Awaiting Your Reply". Pretty great.

And if there's somebody considering doing an 'All time best first albums' list I hope they'll also consider Boston's contribution, which should be right up there with the best of the best.
