Thank you so much for uploading this! This has got to be not only the best live performance, but also the best version of this song. It sounds so much better and has so much more character to it than the studio recording. I'm just amazed, it is soooo rare for singers to sound better live than in studio and Noah seems to outdo himself everytime. And his stage presence... Impressive!

Seems fake as hell to me. I’ve seen these fools live before and it did not sound like this. Especially with vocals happening when he has the mic down, then when he pulls the mic up the audio sounds exactly the same..

It's another person in the band, but the do have backing track going (you can hear a few clips during the performance), though what you hear is from Noah (the backing track is actually pretty low)

they have like an audio of him singing it quieter in the background as well for when he needs to take breaths and stuff. And so it’s easier to stay on track with the song. If that makes sense

either that or there’s just bits of the song that they have prerecorded so he can take a second take breathe, bc i noticed eveytime he doesn’t sing it’s the “NEVERMIND” in the back, so i’m guessing it’s just that one part that plays in the back while he takes a second to breathe.

yea, at 3:54 and 4:00 you and thought the video (i just timestamped 2 so you can easily listen without searching) you can hear when he says “NEVERMIND” you can hear him and the audio at the same time so it’s just that one phrase they have prerecorded if he needs to take a breathe.

@LHawkesDrums the first time he says "here am I" is arms are out and the mic is nowhere near is face. Don't get me wrong I'm not mad about it, minor portions of the song are probably lipsynced so he doesn't have to strain his voice.

@@DathoxUdictusthat’s their bass player I’m pretty sure I’ve seen other videos of him saying it during the performance, though it might have been the lead guitar player. Either way one of the band says it. Also that doesn’t mean he lip syncs. Noah could literally just hear it and know when to say it. It’s a 5 year old song and he knows it by now.

I mean, have you seen the way Oli dresses lately? I love Oli, but his style has been a little weird lately with the super high waisted pants, cropped tops or tops tucked into the pants. I miss the ripped jeans & baggy shirts era. Noah's style is more conventional i guess. You can't really go wrong with it. All black is always good and i like the gloves.
