Honestly when I was in the hidden birds server that day and we found hatchery and later on heroes, me and the rest of the team went beserk. Completely fucked up the schedule causing us to release everything lmao. great video by the way, really goes into extensive detail about these protos. (I’d love to see one on AB Classic’s cancelled hatchery update, which was meant to be 2.0.0) by the way for anyone who DOESNT know, if you join the hidden birds server we have a QNA chat with 2 ex-rovio employees called Miika and Erikoinen who worked on the original angry birds and were at rovio from 2006 to 2010, if you wanna ask them any questions!

I might be wrong, but I think the reason why angry birds epic prototype is using classic designs is because the game was supposed to be developed by rovio, but chimera made angry birds epic instead

This is incorrect, cus the package name for the game actually mentions rovio entertainment (I meant chimera!!!!!). However, this proto is from 2012 so it’s likely just because it’s from before the toons designs were widely used. (Yeah, this game got heavily changed and polished before release. IMO, this is the most interesting proto.)

@AHMED63333 I disagree cus it was the sort of game that rovio wasn’t familiar with making, I think outsourcing was the best decision. (I’m pretty sure chimera made rpg’s before it?)

The biggest prototype leak was a completely new game called Angry Birds Hatchery, you can make your own bird in there I think

@@karenfan010 basically space variation of normal birds should have the same ability as the normal birds has. Drill does not share the same ability as Hal.

@@karenfan010 Also, Drill and Black hole bird was revealed to be new characters instead of space variations of normal birds Early Lazer bird and Snowbomb. Well they are just early design of Lazer birds and Ice Bomb
