That happens all the time and I still don’t know why. I remember when Jurassic Park came out and the news kept warning parents to not bring their small children because it could be a bit scary. Some trailers were just kind of oooh and ahh about the dinos without showing the terrifying clips, so they felt parents should be warned. They brought toddlers and small children in anyway and of course, found out too late that it was a mistake.

Love this movie. Bernie Mac was not a musician but a stand up comedian turned actor. Unfortunately he passed away. John Ritter, the boss who talked about Clinton in the Oval office was on Three's Company back in the day and has also passed away. Two great comedic minds gone too soon. Great video as always Ashleigh, happy new year!!

Billy Bob's most astounding acting performance is definitely in Sling Blade. He wrote and directed it as well as composing some of the music (Also has John Ritter). It's about a mentally handicapped man convicted of murder being released from an asylum and trying to adapt back to life in a rural Southern town. As much as I think you'd love it, it's also a tear-jerker. Tears of happiness, tears of sorrow, tears of anger.

There's a really good/dark movie about a cursed soul who has lived since the dawn of time called "He Neved Died." In one scene he's been beaten up by gangsters and he's making up a lie about what happened. He says he got in a misunderstanding with his landlady. When someone asks "Isn't she like 80?" he fumbles and says, "She's spry."

You can buy a separate remote dirt cheap, but you have to program it for the specific device you want it to control. The remote comes with page after page of specific device codes you enter AFTER you get the remote into control mode by "press and hold the power button until the Red light blinks 3 times, then press the volume up button, then whistle dixie..." Its easier just to buy a new TV, honestly.

Remember watching this one Christmas with my Mom and my late stepfather. When Billy Bob's having a go with the the plus sized sales assistant in the dressing room..." You ain't going to be able to s*** right for a week." She covered her eyes, and stared at her popcorn, chuckling so hard under her breath. Definitely, an off the wall, raunchy comedy - I always laugh so hard at the absurdity of it. Makes me laugh every time.

Wife loved it. Crass as it is. And she's a Hallmark holiday movie marathoner (somewhat ironically because she knows they're all the same plot but it's good escapism). I try to watch this every year. The cynical nature of it and the story of redemption it portrays is a masterclass, though hyperstylized in it execution of many of the worst and best traits humans posses. The greed, maliciousness, apathy and the possibility of redemption far outway the pure comedy I saw in it in my twentys, when it came out. Plus you can't beaT the cast all playing to perfection. Thanks for reviewing it. Happy New Year. And keep the good times rolling. You are the best. You are going to be able to do whatever you want in life. Keep it positive and realize though most people in life are in fact really pieces of excrement. If you pay attention and are true to yourself you can overcome all things in your path as long as you celebrate the good things. Thanks again for brightening people's days.

I don’t get it,when people say that part 2 is not has good as 1,thermal working for a sandwich company has to be one hell of long running gag, then his starring role in the choir and how billy bob got his name as shitstick are all good gags.

Great reaction as always Ashleigh, for sure not one of my favorite films, but still an interesting one. Got to say though my New Years spirits were dampened today with the unfortunate news that Betty White passed away this morning at the age of 99 just 17 days before her 100th birthday. But I feel that she would want us all to go on to smile and laugh, and your reaction still put a smile on my face and a good bit of laughter in my heart. I would love to have you react to a little film called Lake Placid from 1999. When I first saw it, I had mostly only known Betty for her role on the Golden Girls as the sweat and innocent Rose, but then in that film she told a cop to well... I do not want to spoil it, but leave it be said that I laughed so hard at the new light I saw Betty in that day. There are plenty of other great films that Betty stared in, and reacting to a few might be a wonderful way to honor her for her near century of bringing joy into our world. Anyway, thank you for another excellent reaction Ashleigh, and if Betty were here I know she would join me in saying thank you for being a friend. Happy New Year, and may 2022 be better even for the loss of a shining star.

There's another one that's fairly crass, and it's kind of like Die Hard in the sense that it's set during Christmas, but you can watch it whenever. It's called "The Ref" and it's with standup comedian turned actor Denis Leary.

My friends and i saw this back in college in theaters. I honestly don't remember ever laughing as hard in a theater, i mean it was just nonstop hilarity. Other than the obvious jokes, i remember feeling a lot of real pity for Thurman Murman. He's super creepy, awkward and off putting but the more you get to see him on screen the more your heart really just slowly breaks for the kid and his entire life situation. PS Ashleigh - The grandma was Cloris Leechman, who'd you'd know from Mel Brooks movies
