the answer for the ice cream one is that firstly you pay for the milk and fruits to be shipped, then creamed, frozen, shipped to stores and add the label on top. In the end the actual ice cream should be around 50 cent (maybe even less) but the adding of the work we don’t notice like transportation makes the cost rise. (I wish she would tattoo this omg)

Ive got loads of tats and my favourite is Bert wearing a balaclava while stabbing Ernie in the back. Sometimes its just fun getting pointless tattoos. Sometimes when people ask about the meanings, I just come up with random stories to see their reactions. On the dependas tattoo. Sadly it depends on the woman. When I was in, my wife was a huge part of it. She knew the uniform standards. She prepped my uniforms. When I did the Airman of the quarter/year, she helped setup my dress uniform right lol But also the 1st Sgt knew who she was. She knew how to navigate the spouse side of it. Base housing, maintenance, food assistance, child care, when I went on deployment. She knew all the numbers and all the people. So since I was the “super soldier”, I always got the new guys. They immediately would give them to me because they wanted them to “learn right” or whatever. But if they were married, my 1st sgt would legit ask if he could call her. I agreed and right there he would call her and ask her to take the new wives under her wing. Help them get started on getting base housing, child care if they had kids, help them during our deployments, etc… It was really odd lol. But yeah. They relied on my wife to help out so they wouldnt call my 1st sgt. Saved him many headaches. So yeah, when people ask, my wife and I served. WE served. She was knee deep in it too. But there were wives that gave 0 f’s. They wanted nothing to do with the military side. And look, that makes it really hard on the military member. Having to handle all that yourself is a lot. So it depends on the quality of the woman you married. Keeping it real.
