Nice to see Reigate and Raffles Bridge, I've not driven either of those since moving from Redhill to Cornwall 25 years ago. Roads in general are now in a disgusting state. I was visiting family in Horsham over Easter, and drove to Wembley for the England v Brazil match. The A264 and A24 between Horsham and Dorking were particularly bad, with potholes 2 or 3 layers deep. Not what I want to drive through in the wife's low profile tyred Eos. Keep up the good videos.

[5:44] I had a good squint at this one. Just as the silver car from the right gets to the point where the front of it's bonnet is in line with the left side of the blue lorry (the left from our point of view) the traffic light on the other side of the junction facing to the right goes from orange to red. So I think they were both trying to beat the orange light. An accident was only avoided by the silver car's last moment dab of brakes and corrective steering. The black car from the left barely corrects as it brakes. It was heading directly at the turning silver car and made minimal effort to steer away from it. But, here's the gold (nerd stats approaching). The silver car [probably] beat the orange light as far as the set on it's side of the junction is concerned. It was half way across before the light actually went red. IF the junction to the left went red at the same time then the black car also just beat the orange at the junction lights. In both cases it was close and neither should have chanced it. Going by how close they were to crossing the red light I'd say It was 65% the black car's fault and 35% the silver car's fault. The black car would have had more orange light warning time than the silver car as it must have had virtually all of the standard 3 second orange phase warning to stop before it reached the junction. The silver car must have crossed the lights with less than half a second of orange phase gone as its about 2.8 seconds from the silver car entering the shot until the light goes red. Technically neither of them jumped the lights. They were just way too eager to get through them. But, they crapped their pants for a moment, swore at each other, drove on like nothing happened and went home to tell their partners about the absolute c#nt that nearly killed them by jumping the lights.

You should try some of the roads in Cheltenham / Gloucester for pot-holes and speed bumps!

You should be able to send clips to their insurance company and let them decide what a risk they are.

I know it's been a while since this was posted, just never ceases to amaze me some people. 1st clip, why be that impatient you need to go to lane 2, when you intend to park up on the left after lights anyway. You could tell they were going to attempt it, by pulling well over the stop line at the lights to try and get ahead. Morons. @ 1:40 well done the red car not letting that car pull over to park, really gained so much time (not). @ 3:18 these drivers in a 50 zone just rub their hands with glee as they know they can drive at whatever speed they like to pass a few cars. @ 4:09 yea thats a phone she's sneaking looks at.

To be fair cycling is also done on cobblestone that's even more harsh than that road. So could be practice or they are just used to it.

Most of the roads in Michigan are like that road to Epsom. Our Governor ran her campaign with the slogan, “Fix the damn roads!” She didn’t. THEN, she was re-elected!!! Talk about FRAUD!! No one I know voted for Whitless Whitmer either time. We are so screwed! (Rant over.)

Yes, some surfaces like at 6:40 are awful for road bikes! Sometimes I'll try out a new route and regret it, due to the fact Google maps doesn't have a function indicating the quality of road surface.... Sometimes though, as mentioned by another commenter, roads with poorer surfaces are nicer due to slower and less traffic. One of my two bikes is also a gravel bike, which looks like a racer but with slightly thicker tyres, which rides those kind of surfaces fairly easily.

The chap in the pink jacket may have got dressed in the dark.... Red light runners are now all over the country. They're a menace and a danger after I've had a few near misses in town where I live.

Your comment about the state of the road surface on the B284 (Burgh Heath Road) is borne out by using Street View on GOOGLE Earth. It's dated March 2021, so nothing has been done for at least 2 years!

Not very smart driving in the first clip. That was so close where those two vehicles met at the junction. There was definitely a red light broken there.

The speed bumps on that road don't really affect cyclists since they can split around them. A bad road surface can be fine on an uphill where you can easily choose a smooth line between the potholes. Perhaps this road also has less traffic also. Why if the alternative is better are you not also using it and by driving on a poor surface making it even worse?

Why take the P out of someone all because you don't like the way they dress?
