Bad Weather Prevents Further Searching

After a night of very strong winds followed by a morning of snow, hail and freezing rain, it was time to break camp and leave the valley area north of Loch Dochard and head back to Clashgour Hut
To carry out any further searching for any signs of missing hiker/camper Neil Skinner in these conditions would be very foolish
Location; Loch Dochard, Bridge of Orchy, Scotland.

Once we are out and about, and especially if Otis is off lead, it is hard to cool his jets for sure. Always a good call to take weather conditions into consideration. Seems nice and cozy back at the hut and good to know that Stella is doing good. Poor Rouge, always the butt of the jokes. LOL Do understand the need to be stern at times, and some don't understand as I have been given this disappointed look when some have seen it happen, but Otis knows and listens immediately, and that's what matters. He's the best I have in my life at present. All the best to a wonderful week!

Just can’t predict the weather now a days, sunshine one day, snowing the next, always cautious because so many have got lost in the area over the years and sadly lost their lives from falls or getting lost in poor visibility. Dogs are good, they really switch on when things get nasty, seem to sense the urgency. Rogues always to blame, got to have a fall guy or in her case fall girl. Otis is all you need Bruce, best companion, never judges, always by your side 👍 You two take care, will catch up on vids when I get back. Atb Bill and three mangy hounds

@@HausKashmirMalinois Two are, one, Stella was nearly on her way to the pearly gates. Luckily I realised the drugs the vet had been prescribing for her had basically putting her in a drug induced state. Tried telling the vet many times the symptoms but kept getting brushed off with its old age. Stopped the drug ‘gabepentin’ and within 24 hours Stella’s condition improved. But she’s been off her feet for four months so it’s going to be hard work getting her strong enough to walk again. But I don’t give up so watch this space . Atb Bill
