I still remember Bobby recounting the first night Jules stayed over at their house. Bobby was picking his nose and eating it, he turns around and sees that Jules was standing there the entire time. Then he confronted her in the kitchen and asked her if she saw him eating his boogers and she denied seeing it. Then he started threatening her that he will feed her his boogers from then on.

It's because they're either very bland or gross snacks comparative to every other snack. Chips ahoy are super dry and hard and also hard to pair with different items. He brought lays without a dip to go with, which causes them to be super dry and salty. Not even beverages to pair.
