The Tortoise at tier IX is so much better, and not only tier for tier. You don't need to play hulldown, and by playing mid range or by wiggling while brawling, you can make your weak points tricky to hit, when you will ALWAYS get penned in the Badger lower plate, no matter the angle. There is only a 10 to 20 dmg difference between the two tanks dpm (depending on how you fit them, and what field mods you take), but with 400 alpha, the Tortoise has the better reload time, which means you can trade 2 for 1 in situations the fucking Badger can just sit and trade 1 for 1. Did you see that situation against the Super Conqueror in the 3rd game ? A Tortoise would have been able to perma track and farm the Sconq with 5.6s reload, where the Badger just can't with 6.8s reload. I'd rather play a Tortoise than a Badgfer in a full tier X game. Nuff said.

I love the Badger with all my heart, it’s a great breakthrough tank and hulldown monster.

First battle is the typical mix by WG's MatchMaking: MM puts in one team: Total idiots(crossing T10), Impotent players without knowledge of tanks weaknesses (badger), 100% bots(705A-account made in 2012, full black stats), high percent autoaim users, and players with hidden minimap(and all of this in a TIER10 battle!!!) MM puts in the other team: Opposites of the enemy team. This is the recipe for 1-15, 2-15, 15-3 battles under 4-5 minutes. WOT is one of the most disgusting, frustrating, and discouraging experience i ever have in online mmo games.

I would say the single biggest issue going from tortoise to badger is the drop in rof. That one second difference really seems to matter, and sure the badger hits harder but there is so many times it gets one shot in where tortoise got two. The more limited gun arc makes it feel more awkward to play as well and so it feels a step down. Not that I hate it, it's just its issues are of the frustrating type.

Again and again, you are really imperssive with your frequent new content every day! Big big respect for this, I can hardly imagine this is quite hard work!!!

I have done the 6.5k damage mission with the badger :). Of course all stars had to align for it to happen, I was basically solo holding the heavy line after my teammates died, from a somewhat hull-down position, being able to use the full dps.

all the enemy badger is playing on the same line as you, so that kinda explain the flexibility

Skil is usually right on when it comes to tanks, but not this time! The Badger is actually a great tank, and I've already posted my second highest dmg of all time after just a week. You have to angle and use that wide gun arc to bounce reliably, and also hide the lower plate when possible, but the upper armor is really good. The accuracy is amazing, so you can pick out weak spots or play as a sniper with crazy high dpm. It is actually better than the Tortoise once you know how to play it. Quickybaby, who is a Tortoise/Badger expert, rocks a 67% win rate in it, and has an amazing Master Class video, which has helped me post some great numbers. Highly recommend this tank, but spend the time learning its play style.

Like most SPG players, TD players are very comfortable sitting at the base all game long. Campers will be campers.

I play e50m on wot blitz and whenever i see this tank in matchmaking, i know for sure i will get yoloed. The driver knows that with e50m, i can't reliably pen a badger up close.

In my first battle with Badger I did only 1 shot (400 dmg), but next 5 battles were absolutely amazing, 2 ace tankers, 2 first classes. Since then I have performed worse and worse and I am considering selling it. I had probably just a blessed session in the beggining, but its true colours showed up. Tortoise is much better tier to tier, it even has the same DPM and reloads faster, has more gun traverse range with armor, that can work.

I'm way more scared of meeting Tortoise than Badger, that should say everything :/

I sold Badger and bought back Tortois, almost same dpm a little bit more flexibility since able to peak corners effectively using it's armor.

Bond rammer and vent plus improved aiming. U can even snipe and hit everything

ha that sconqueror got improved hardening, improved config, max repair skills, reinforced suspension mod (idk), small and large repair kits.

Skeell baboon king its very situational if you can find a crossfire opportunity or series of sneaky spots to move to in succession its very dependent on the team engaging all tanks especially the light hunters best rolling with similar tanks it mobility playing baboon move up.

I'm going for unlocking Badger this week. I am a below average player and I'm having fun. I don't expect people in my level of gameplay to outsmart me when I play just decently. So for me: our gameplay level is quite different (you're the gentleman and I am the boy ;) ) so I think I will enjoy it a lot.

I've had the badger since it replaced the deathstar and ...well ....I haven't been impressed. Its armour is not as good as E3, and big alpha damage is so much more useful on a slow TD. You hardly ever get to use badgers DPM because enemies just don't stay out in the open if they can help it. Plus the standard penetration is very unimpressive for a tier 10 TD. If it had 290 instead of 272 it would be a much better TD, but as it is, you bounce a hell of a lot of shots on heavies that are slightly angled. It's just mediocre in all the ways.

As a successor to the Totty and in comparison to T110-E3 or even Jagpista, Batcher as Tier X is a piece of craaaaaaa...

Dpm is nice on paper but not so useful in the game. Some of the most dangerous tanks have very average dpm but they burst for close to 1000 damage.

every time i take that position at lost town, i get my face eaten by artillery. that is totally useless and doesnt affect games whatsoever.

I found Badger meh at first but after turbo ,rotation mech it became playable. I have had monster carrys with it. Some tips. Dont get isolated unless your in a corner hull down, face hug 279E and bob jects then feast as they cant do shit i know i have done it a few times they panic just go full throttle and keep pushing them. You cant snipe wg made it a close quarters type gun. if 110E3, jagE100 T110E4 are about to shoot rotate to a 45% angle it usually negates there heat pen. To do welll you need to know your maps and choose good spots . I would say its a high skill cap TD which can do well if you know how to use it.

The badger is completely situational. By this I mean it can demolish a flank single handedly if you get hill down and click enemies down.

I stopped at tortoise - I have the badger unlocked but I won't spend the credits, at least not for now. I still have plenty of T10 to buy so tortoise is enough for me in this line. I have 4400 DPM on tortoise with field mods, just finished filed mods yesterday so I'm eager to see what the difference in DPM will do in a few games. So far I have around 3k combined with tortoise but that's including the grind...Not great but not so bad considering how many shitty games I had...

I think I would prefer the T110E3, I think mobility and armor is better. It works much better with clumsy casmates like these tanks to just have great pen and high alpha for the limited chances you get to shoot at targets.

Tortoise is much better in tier X as badger i say you got lower time reloading to perma track is more possible. Sure you have lower alpha damage and ADM but it is just tortoise like on St_2 the tier 9 is better one

Like the Maus, the Badger feels pushed on the side by the meta and irrelevant stats such as armor in a competitive sphere make the tank look like a joke. Looking back, the tortoise let you perma track ennemy the badger loose this trait and negate you from punishing ennemy for mistakes.

A tank with heavy soul. The overall play is somewhat boring, but the invincible moments that sometimes come are very impressive.

If you had a scale of 5 instead of 4, I'd put Badger in 3, dead in the middle. It's decent at just about everything. What it lacks in flexibility, it makes up in reliability. The armour works surprisingly well, the gun is decent (poor long range accuracy and shit pen for a TD though), the mobility is acceptable. I hated the Tortoise, but this tank is OK for me. Not great, but I don't dislike it.

Unpopular opinion, but I think the Tortoise is horrible and the Badger is much better. Main reason: anyone with >300mm pen goes straight through the Tortoise anywhere they like at any angle. Maybe its different for you on EU/RU, but NA has so few players now that T9 and 10 have identical MM, so I never fight T7s and rarely see T8. Everyone has high HEAT pen and I guarantee I am shot more with gold than standard ammo. Badger has some weird weaknesses, but for me, I get more bounces and don't have to shoot as often for the same amount of damage. I would rather the lower front plate be a weakspot than the entire front of the tank.

Skill, they launched the Badger while nerving and killing the Obj 268, which was a true TD and still is somehow. Their idea is to reduce playtime by making TD's stronger, so they can brawl. The end result of this policy are the Italian SuperHeavyTDs, so that is what they wanted, this is what we get. Traditional gaming or playing is not wanted. BRAWL, DOGFIGHT and EFF OFF as fast as possible, consumer. You know what I mean. Baboon salutation to the boss.

I swear those windows on the first map are blocked whenever i play that map . Is it just me or do u guys have it blocked too.

We cant compare this tank with the t10 competitors, because is subpar, they will just brutalize your front armor, and thats it. The frontal armor in real game situations do not work, at least for me. If you campare this with its predecesor, the tortoise, its a downgrade in every category except mobility. The armor on the tortoise is more reliable, you just need to find the way to hide the cupola and thats it (the dpm on the top gun is also beastly). Its a fun tank overall to play, but they need to do something about the frontal armor imo.

I sell The badger and i buy back tortoise i bounce much more with the tortoise and i make more dmg
