I would like to add few more points which i observed in this movie. That is, its very difficult to capture audince for a movie which is shot in one room atleast half of the movie is 4 main characters. That show's the acting skills and also there were no songs in this film. At the beginning of the movie amithabh bachan(big B) starts with 3 hours of conversation in his cellphone , that is the duration of the film and it will be kept through whole movie even the interval is kept exactly 1 hour before which is brilliant. I enjoyed it and worth watching

You will surely like shot movie " Ahalya" by the same director ( Sujoy Ghosh). Its very highly recommended and 12 mins long.

Okay so one little director's hint what I noticed was when Amitabh said "Naina, I'm sorry can I call you by first name" and later after that from naina's perspective when the mom met her in the party for the first time she also repeated this dialogue exact word to word "Naina, I'm sorry can I call you by first name" that was a hint of Amitabh Bachchan's character.

Please watch The Lunchbox movie. Don't watch the trailer if anyone tells you to. All versions of the trailer spoil key moments and revelations of the story. So don't watch the trailer, best if you discover them organically as the movie progresses. Go in blind. It's one of the best acted movies of India with the best method actors of India. Take my word for it and watch it when you can. Just ask if you should watch it in a video and people will tell you to because it's such a good arthouse movie.

This movie is an adaptation of a Spanish movie by the name "the invisible guest" I watched it on Netflix

Saw the film last night. Was really good. Amazing ending twists with Amitabh Bachchan's character being Sunny's character's Dad the whole time. I am going to watch the original Spanish version of the movie The Invisible Guest and wanna compare the two.

I would recommend watching Kahaani, released in 2012. If you like films in this genre you would love Kahaani, one of the best! And if you would like to watch things with Amitabh Bachchan, i would recommend Paa, Piku, Black, 102 not out, Anand (1971), Virudh, Te3n, Shamitabh, The Great Gatsby, Sarkar, Bhootnath, The Last Lear..

Finally watched the movie last night. And I agree with Korbin. I thought it was predictable. Like I had a gut feeling that she’s guilty and Amitabh is the victim’s father. But I wasn’t expecting the prosthesis. I just thought that she hadn’t met the father so it was Amitabh all along. But still, it was a good movie and highly engrossing.

Here's a thing i noticed that you missed mentioning in the video that parents of the dead guy were theater actors. Rani told Arjun about it when they give lift to him. Thats how they managed to get all the stuff and make up to impersonate Badal Gupta.

You guys can watch Piku where Mr. Bachchan has played an entirely different kind of role from this movie. It's a delight to watch him.
