We never know what destiny has for us 2012- lee chong defeated chen L in semi finals but lost to lin dan in finals. 2016- lee chong defeated lin dan in semi finals but lost to chen long in finals...

the fastest recorded smash was 421 kph, or 262 mph. (it's in the guinness book of world records) smashes routinely reach 250 kph (155mph) anyway, which already exceeds most, if not almost all tennis serves.

Anybody with some knowledge about tennis would know how pointless this comment is. The shuttle slows down to lesser than 1/3 of its speed by the time it reaches the other player unlike tennis where the ball pretty much maintains its speed all the way. Also its much more harder to put the ball in compared to a shuttle.

@@ex2044 I think it's closer to a percentage between 30 to 40. Not a fact but I believe its measured and depends on the shuttle condition to a certain level.

Despite a shoulder and ankle injury, Lee Chong Wei still manage to bring himself to the Gold Medal Match, and still brought that to a rubber game, and won 19 points before conceding. In my honest opinion, he deserves the Gold Medal.

Chen long was more injured here and lee wasn’t even injured that’s when he lost to chen long in 2016 and would have lost to Lin Dan in semi finals in 2016 if Lin Dan wasn’t injured

I don't think you understand tennis, then. I love badminton, but tennis is known for it's diversity in ball speed, ball rotation, and volleying, while badminton is better known because of its accuracy, fast speed, and net play. Just because different sports focus on different skills, does not mean one sport is more interesting than another.

Actually it is over 250 mph.Perhaps you always have the idea that badminton is slow and not intense,which is not really true, especially when it comes to doubles play.
