전 꾸준히 영상을 보고 있는데, 마음은 벌써 A조가 된 기분이랍니다. thank you for your faithful teaching efforts.

This makes a lot of sense. Why sometimes it feels like these advanced players always seem to be a lot faster than you. Never thought about tempo ever in badminton
@1Flyingfist2 жыл бұрын
I don't fully understand it. Advanced players are faster due to better footwork and playing with their elbow up. Which reduces the time taken for their racket to get to the shuttlecock. I don't understand the difference between basic and quick, as presented in this video. The coach appeared to be doing deceptions for his quick hits. But the student appeared to be saying basic and then quick, but doing the same movement. 😐 Can some explain please?
@abdulbari57452 жыл бұрын
@@1Flyingfist you are absolutely right. Advanced players are faster for a number of reasons. The difference indicated in the video is about the tempo. In badminton there is a concept called rythm where subconsciously you try to mimic the pace of the game by understanding the movement and pace of the opponent, so you tend to play quicker against better opponents. The simple difference between a quick tempo normal tempo is that there is no swing when you are playing with a quick tempo which causes lack of accuracy in the shot you play. The detailed explanation is that most shots we play will be at a normal tempo I.e. Your footwork will coincide with the time you play the shot. When you play with a quick temp you play the shot a fraction earlier than your footwork so this puts your opponent off because he or she is expecting the shot to come.a.gractipn slower. This makes a huge difference especially at the net. I think this is what they tried to explain and this is what made sense to me because I realised that I face this issue a lot. Hope it helps.
