UPDATE - unfortunately the frame broke while being re-strung. the cracks further up the frame gave way. But I will upload a new video of the duora 10 with this repair.
So as well as trading card games, I love playing badminton, and I'm sure I'm not the only person to have cracked or broken the frame of an expensive racket. I tried this method on another racket but did not document it. This is a Yonex Z force 2, that cracked and broke clashing with another racket. Using carbon fibre rods, inserted into the frame. It reinforces the frame where it is cracked. Then its all glued with epoxy glue and left to cure for 24 hours. Once the racket is strung I will upload a video of the racket in use.
I've got my racket which is a Duora 10, strung to 24lbs after this repair, and even with this makeshift repair its holding up well. It's never going to be a perfect repair and I wouldn't use this for serious play, but for fun and casual play its fine.
