Excellent helpful video. I did find one thing incorrect you state that if you hold the power button for a few seconds it turns on the backlight. That's actually press the + button for a couple seconds will turn on the backlight.

yep , like 9 modes . best to get in shape and track how your cardio is doing over time . and also save the battery 🔋🔋🔋

Hi there a few years late I know but it is about changing the pedal assist. I can get into the advances options and get the opt dH I increase it to from 5 to 9 and press the power button to save. When I turn on again the pedal assist still only goes up to 5 :-( what am I doing wrong? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

Hi GM... the "black and white LCD display" is the easiest to see in direct sunlight... the new TFT color displays go invisible in direct sunlight.. I wish Bafang would bring back the black and white LCD, that had all the information the 860c has: ie. Speed, Voltage, Watts, Trip/ODO, power level.. etc.. I ride a recumbent etrike with a BBSHD, and i tow a Solar trailer.. I need Speed:Watts:voltage to optimize the range... You need to be able to monitor the power level:gear ratio in order to get the best range. I have the useless P860c display that i can't see in the direct sunlight. it is useless, you don't ride solar etrikes at night or in the shade..
